Does anyone know the system requirements?

Maybe stating the obvious here but did they ask permission to use photographs and videos of military installations from the Greeks. If not you can see how this may be deemed as suspicious behaviour, particularly in this current climate of a heightened fear of terrorism.

I certainly know that when I was in the army we would be highly suspicious of anyone taking photos of our barracks.

Wasn't that long ago British plane spotters got arrested for taking shots of Greek planes at a Greek airport (commercial not military), Greeks are a bit on edge, it seems..;)

Well looking at google maps, they dont have much in the way of military hardware on the island to be paranoid about.

This question doesn't really belong here, but I thought I'd ask it anyway because a lot of you have Bohemia Interactive games installed, and I'm puzzled about something strange. If some of you have several games by BI, perhaps someone has come across some similar problem that I have. No show stopper, but a bit bewildering.

I have the ArmA X box, Take on Helicopters, and Carrier Command: Gaea Mission (installed in that order). These are all on the same drive, but installed in different directories. Everything patched but completely vanilla, by the way.

The weirdness startet after I installed Carrier Command:

1) The tutorial missions of ArmA II now also appear in the tutorial section of Take on Helicopters (in addition to the normal ones belonging there), and they are playable from ToH!

2) The introduction screen of ArmA 2 now has the backdrop of Carrier Command, where the slow fly-by of the carrier of ArmA should be.

Everyting is playable just fine, as far as I can see, so I'm not all that bothered, but has anyone of you come across something like this?

Oh, and I'm really looking forward to ArmA 3. Can't wait!

My PC will **** it's biscuits at the first sign of that :( Looks impressive though.

Slight topic tangent, but why would you not develop DayZ standalone on this engine, instead of bodging the ARMA2 engine as they seem to be doing? Makes no sense.

As above!!!

Need to start saving...

Dayz is running on a modified version of the Take On heli engine, which is an amazing engine!

For ToH and arma that is normal. Though im surprised about carrier command. Cool! This is not an issue though. They detect each other install and do cool things.

Never, ever.

BIS don't sell out. In fact look what happened when Codemasters split and BIS decided to go it alone. Codemasters took the Operation Flashpoint name with them, dragged it through the mud, stamped on it a few times then wiped their backside with it. Giant fail.

BIS developed ArmA 1 and 2 and the rest is history (and the future, with ArmA 3 :))

Agreed - BIS make enough from selling the military versions of the Arma series - VBS2 ( Arma is based on these). This is why Arma is so realistic and miles ahead of other games - the people behind it know what they are doing.
