AS SSD Benchmark benchmarks!

Impressive :) Always nice on Raid 0. Hows your experience been with Kingston SSDs? I've not used them before my self.

They are chugging along rather nicely, some people moan about Sandforce controllers, but I've never had anything bad to say about them, or indeed the previous Intel 520 series before these which again is a Sandforce based SSD.

What's really good is the the included USB caddy that is supplied with them, absolutely lovely.

Yep, extremely pleased with it so far wazza. Much faster than my old vertex 2e. Great to be able to boot into windows so quickly after using the old 2.5" laptop drive.

That is defiantly a nice touch. Personally only used OCZ, Corsair and Samsung. Need to decide who to go with on my new raid controller.

OCZ SSDs embedded within SandForce controllers really work flawlessly as per my experience goes. OCZ vector series never had any kind performance issues, keep the controller firmware up to date & also SSD manufacturer firmware up to date as well.

Ah Yeah ppl who say that you wont notice the diff between sata 2 and 3 speeds, are wrong,, as my boot time has decreased by another 2-3secs going from the vertex 2e to the sammy pro

Will do mate, in my enthusiasm to get back up and running i almost forgot about the cashback deal. The drive is amazing, the write times are more than fine for me. I never write big files to an ssd, aside from a few games. My boot time now is extremely quick, and game load times are down an awful lot. Great bonus on the games i play most. If i can help it, my os and chosen games will never be on a mechanical drive again.:)
