Honestly why couldnt Fletcher & Flintoff see what like 90% of England see? That Giles was hopeless and Monty was at least a threat to the Aussies as he's the unknown quantity. Shame it's taken the stubborn **** 2 tests to put him in.

Australia all out for 244. Harmison back on form and Monty proving what a fantastic bowler he is. I just hope our openers show as much improvement as our bowlers did or we could be bowling again by this time tomorrow.

oh man this is brilliant, monty picked and claims 5 wickets! what a legend. Didnt get to watch any of it, these test times are just not to my style. might catch one or 2 overs in the morning but that will be about it, Roll on tomorrow.

im still not confident of us winning after the shambles of last time. Englands opening batsmen are awful. they allow Aus to get there tails up by getting them out so cheaply.

only peitersen and collingwood with anything about them.

he is very good indeed.. thank goodness they survived with only losing two at the end of day 1. watched the whole thing. off to uni for a meeting and then il sleep til saturday!
