Bad by Australia. No hit, no sound and the appeal was ferocious, almost seemed like cheating. You can't appeal a swing and a miss when there's no sound.

Strauss was unlucky, that seemed to miss by an inch or so.

Why can't we try and occupy the crease for a while :confused:

see them off early doors and then score progressively. They all want to tank runs off most balls.
With Jones gone for another poor score, Chris Read may get another opportunity (doubt it though)

If we escape with a 50 defecit from this 1st innings it will be a suprise.

Call me a pesimist but I think the Aussies will be picking the urn back up on Sunday morning this has gone away from England.

Gonna be looking at 300+ runs to win and you know we wont get that, after the last test I wouldnt fancy us chasing 200 let alone 300!
