Ashes thread - England vs Australia * SPOILERS *

About time a decision went our way I guess. TMS said there was a fair bit of doubt but I haven't seen it.

Not really. Pitched in line, hit well below the knee roll, would have missed off, missed leg and hit middle half way up.

LOL Monty's won the beard of the year by the Beard Liberation Front. Fidel Castro runner up according to bumble

If a player can have a bad series than so can an umpire, at least he is being consistent and giving both teams bad decisions ;)

Of course it doesn't help our bowling plans were leaked but it was nothing revolutionary - the thing that irks me is that it's typical convict behaviour.

And there endeth the rumours of espionage...but I do rather like this spoof video footage.

from The Age's online commentary:

"I love the Chappelli pearls of wisdom. England's first target - apparently - is to make Australia bat again. Well, blow me down."

Cook goes for 20. Inside edge onto the stumps trying to drive Clark. Shame, we'd made a good start.

41-1.

And what a surprise another one goes, Bell close LBW.

48-2.

Pietersen out at 4 instead of Collingwood.

So much for pride and fightback eh? This whole tour has been an embarrassment and the players should be truly ashamed.
Agreed, I have lost all interest in it now and we have 30 months of Aussie gloating to endure before we get a chance to lose them again. :(

If the England team perform the same in the last test then they shouldn't bother coming back home as they're not welcome - what a disgraceful performance yet again.

Yeah should send them back tbh;)...oh wait :p

Couldnt even make the 4th day, another terrible English performance as per usual. I cant understand England and their mentality, they had the Aussies on the rack the other day when they were 84-5...got 5 very important wickets but yet still let Hayden and Symmonds get 150's to give them a massive lead....amazing how England keep blowing up...much like a suicide bomber tbh. Have to admit what a way to lose the toss...well they won the toss but in reality they lost it didnt they??....An innings and 99 run loss...damn thats a hard pill to swallow.

Oh well 5-0 whitewash coming up, i thought England honestly could have won or drew this test but i guess that was asking for a miracle too much.

Funny incident about the leaked report, it wasnt stolen even though Botham seems to think so but then he should really learn to keep his fat mouth shut at times...prat that he is. Obviously making that assumption that it was stolen made him look an ass, which i always thought he was tbh. Saw the pic of the report on cricinfo, its a shame that England couldnt stick to the plan:p...as Boycott said if you need a plan to get rid of Warne then somethings wrong with your bowlers...and tbh hes spot on. To allow Warne to get 40 not out says it all about the English bowlers...mind you the English batters are just as bad, no backbone whatsoever.

I didn't like what I saw yesterday when Hoggard was interviewed by the BBC. His whole attitude and demeanour, to me, was that it was all a bit of a joke and a laugh, and he didn't seem bothered at all  Maybe that is the difference between the two sides. The Aussies never accept poor performances or defeats, we shrug and don't care it seems. We being the England team, not the public anyway.

If that is how he feels then he shouldn't be allowed to play for his country and nor should any of his team-mates who feel the same way
