Assange to go!

What creep. 99% of the people of South America don't know who you are. Be a man and go and face justice. You're not a journalist you a coward.

This is a joke!!!

He's just demanded that a soldier who betrayed his country despite an oath he took to defend it, and despite knowingly committing an incredibly serious crime against his country be released?!?!

What?? So, aside from the law, if he thinks it's a good idea then it shouldn't be illegal?

He really rates himself huh?

So one of the conditions of his asylum was he didn't give a political speech... so they gonna kick him out now? Ecuador will have too or they will look even more stupid than they already do!

I knew this all along, this guy loves the limelight, that's it, he just loves being the center of the drama and lording it up at any opportunity. Got nothing worth saying.

That would be a completely riduclous thing to do and would irepairably damage diplomatic relations with other countries across the globe.

Better not do that then, wouldn't want to upset a country such as Ecuador.

It would have MUCH wider repercussions other than upsetting Ecuador. It would destroy our international status with most/all countries.

The threats to enter were just that, threats, designed to try and scare them to kick him out. They called our bluff. As much as I believe we should be able too get him out as they are harbouring a suspected rapist, we're not going in any time soon and rightly so.

It's REALLY frustrating, but that's just the way it is.

Don't you get it? I'm not talking about Ecuador. Once you set a precedent that your country can and will find ways around the Vienna Convention if it deems it neccesary, then it becomes about far more than just one country.
