Assassin's Creed Odyssey

The Cyclops looks cool and so does that mermaid ship statue. Some good stuff there, now if only I would stop working abroad for a bit I might actually be able to continue with my game !

Never thought I'd say that but please stop adding more stuff to this colossus of a game:p

Seriously though, Ubisoft have really stepped up their game. Not only are they actually listening to the community and implementing changes/adding free stuff but my almost 60h of gametime was absolutely crash-free and with hardly any bugs.

Good to know the Level cap is getting increased. Hope they do something to fix Fire damage as it seems really unbalanced in favour of the NPC's (Mercs).

Gives me a reason to keep doing quests! Yes, NPC fire damage does seem excessive in comparison to what we can give out.

Another weekend of this, still lots to do :D

I guess if the cap is being raised the next big DLC release will bring a new skill tree?

I have been doing more of the main storyline as I am now Level 50, so exploring seems a bit pointless as I don't need any more stuff or resources as everything I am using is maxed out :D I don't know about a new skill tree as I have lots that I still haven't unlocked. I have maxed out the Warrior skill tree but there are still some in Assassin and Hunter that I don't have.

I've been walking the lands killing anything in sight, in order to level up Heavy Blades/Hammers engravings, which I've just done now. All I have left are Staff engravings 1-5 :( oh and killing 25 Leaders in order to get the All Damage engraving to Lv5.
My mercenary tab is a complete train wreck with new replacements coming in every 10-20mins - it's absolute chaos in my game!

With all the quests done the game mostly feels dead, the Ostraka riddles and engravings keeping things going so far.

Surely with 20 more levels plus all of the tombs every branch will be maxed out by the time any DLC drops?

From what I have read there are 22 Tombs and you get 49 points from Levelling up so 71 in total. Each skill tree probably takes 30+ points to max out plus the skills at the bottom so maybe it might be possible to max out with the DLC.

You don’t invest perk points in to skills at bottom. Automatically level those up upon hitting the criteria such as syncing enough points or getting certain distance into campaign etc.

Ah yes you are correct. Still don't think there will be a new skill tree though, but there might be new 'skills' added within Warrior, Assassin and Hunter.

Yeah I think they may add on additional skills. Hopefully they add some passive ones also! What with the limits in place already, its easy to max most used skills with all the perks you get.

This game runs FAR better than origins for me (even with higher graphic settings than what I used in origins), although I don't think the graphics are as good as origins..... just me who thinks this????

Feels incredibly arcadey/responsive too, could just be cause I'm coming from red dead redemption 2 lol.....

All in all, as I said before, it's just a DLC/skin to origins from what I've played so far, only difference is you can choose what to say in dialogue scenes (zzzzzzzzzzzzz) and you now have special moves.

Preferring it to origins, especially the live support. Still haven’t visited all the islands. Only one more mythical creature to go. Then a few remaining cultists.
