Assassin’s Creed Origins

Boobie trap the braziers is easier then killing the guys running to them.. scout the area with sinu before going in..

Combat is easy.. learn to parry and dodge like Witcher 3 and time Ur swings don't be a button smashing noob

Even hard is stupidly easy.

Or trap them yes...I am just overly aggressive and cant resist an arrow to the back of the head of a guy running to a brazier, there's something intensely satisfying about meleeing someone and part way through the melee, turning and putting an arrow into someones back and then turning back and finishing off the melee fight :D

I quite like letting them get to the brazier :D (or accidentally light it myself which I usually did in the beginning!)

What is interesting is that if there is a camp of soldiers nearby they will come from there.

Well i purchased ACO yesterday and was looking forward to it.
However game is unplayable, as soon as it starts I am afflicted with mouse cursor rapidly flashing and unmoveable.
Checked UBI forums and seems others are similarly afflicted, couple of suggestions re the ACO.ini file. None work for me.
Yes I have a Hotas connected and some suggest removing that will enable game to work.
Well if they think I am gonna pull my box out, scrabble round the back to unplug my setup just for ONE game that is obviously not fit for purpose they have another think coming.
If UBI expect me to pay my hard earnt for a pos that can't coexist with a Hotas setup NOT gonna happen. I have no problems with any other game I have purchased.
Bought on steam yesterday, refund requested today.

Am I alone in getting annoyed whenever i see that console peasant "if you see this sign the game is loading/saving"
Jeez get that crap out of the PC versions.

Here is one thing to try, might help.

Start the game up, then (with the game still running) alt-tab or ctrl-alt-del to the task manager and change the AC Origins Priority from High to Normal.

Too late, steam refunded me within 44 minutes of putting in the request.
Shame as was looking forward to it but I will not pay to beta test.

Pity, the latest patch did something which has meant that some people have had a variety of issues that are related to it being on High Priority, changing it back to Normal resolves a lot of those issues, shame that you have already refunded, especially as you were looking forward to it, as it might have solved the issue you were having. Maybe you will pick it up again somewhere down the road, its an utterly brilliant game, contender for my game of the year. Would be a pity for you to miss out on it as its one you were excited about.

That’s e

That’s exactly what the problem is.
I had to unplug my pedals for the game to recognise my game pad.
Quite a few games are like that from my experience.

Had a problem with my steering wheel connected takes 2 secs to pull out a usb cable out..

Have had this issue with a few games. Pretty minor fix for what is an absolutely fantastic game.

Currently at the arena stage and all I can say is that it is brilliant.

The chariot racing arena or the gladiatorial arena?

I'm wrapping up loose ends now, just killed all the phylaki guys and got the cool looking "ninja" outfit , solved the sphinx riddle earlier today and got the futuristic Isu armour (in my spoiler screenshot earlier in the thread) , just running about getting every hidden tomb, all the machines, every ? location.

I dont usually bother to 100% the map in these sorts of games (didnt 100% the map in Witcher 3) but the gameworld in this is just SO good that I want to see everything.

Gladiatorial arena :) - good times!

Damn, you people work fast! I'm so far off "wrapping loose ends" that I genuinely feel quite overwhelmed with what's still left to do:p This game might be too big for me, which is a rare complaint these days. I have three other games to complete but I keep getting sucked into this (have just found some great sidequests) and Tekken. I hate gaming sometimes:p

I am pushing on with the main quest a little more now. Can move onto everything else then.

Great shots CaptainRave, the photo mode in this is so well implemented

It is a big time sink by itself. Every game should have this.

I've been hammering the game pretty hard, nearing 62 hours played now :)

i just started this (just leaving the first area)

not had much issue with performance tbh playing 55fps-60Fps @ 4K on Veruy High/High
1800x @ 4.0 1080TI.
whilst it could be better in performance not really having a issue. like others. maybe due to running 4K CPU is idle most of the time.

but why does Ubisoft always have to go back to the real world?. i wish for once AC didn't have the padding & immersion breaking real world in.
just made us fully immersed in the world...

i was really enjoying it until i saw the real world again. Then i was like oh real AC real world.... reminded me of boring office walking of black flag...

Performance may well drop in Memphis or Alexandria, but even then it isn't too bad.

At least the real world is really brief this time - they may as well have ditched it entirely though.

Finally got around to taking on Anubis for a beatdown ! ;)

It was a good fight - I look forward to the next one!
