Yup, I think it's one of the more better ones in the series and had got a solid number of hours from it just putting it down now. Not the most spectacular game i have played, but a solid buy with a lot of content and plenty of fun moments to be had.

He was easier than Anubis, although possibly thats because I am much better geared now than I was when I fought Anubis :)

Manage it on my second attempt. As you say, easier, but it helps being level 40!

Have my new armour set too with the season pass - it looks good.

Managed the hermit locations tonight too. Not many achievements left to get. Still a few more side quests to do.

Anyone tried the latest patch with SLI yet? Is it working as the notes mention multi GPU in a vague manner.

A wicked part of me is hoping not as I've recently side graded to a single 1080ti after getting ****** off with the recent lack of SLI support in big new games.

No difference from quick test now between Single 1080Ti and a pair of 1080Ti's with third Ti set to PhsyX. Infact slight performance decrease in both FPS in benchmark run and also frame times seem to be a bit more all over the place, not so much an issue with G-sync smoothing things out, but without G-Sync not as smooth as one GPU. In actual play, the FPS is slightly higher out of cities with SLI, but in cities its similar (which the benchmark run mostly uses)
 
55 hours now. I just did a part of the story that without any spoilers, I'll just say is very linear, a little bit rushed, and I thought it was coming to an end. Now I've got about 10 new side quest on my map and I still have 10 whole areas I haven't even set foot in yet!

This game really is massive. What impresses me most is the towns. You can wander off in any direction and you'll probably come across a large town, with lots of people and side quests in it... In most games these would be considered major hubs, but in this they are just there. And then there are the main cities, which are all great. My favourite is Krokodilopolis. I was a bit disappointed with Alexandria, even though it is the biggest. It is missing something for me. Herakleion could have done with a few more side quests too.

What is everyone's favourite town/city?

One question I have...is there any way of knowing what is a restricted area ? as on previous games the map was red for no go places. I have nearly died a few times by being in the wrong place. I know you have the red icons on the map or you can use Senu but it seems a bit of a pain that way.

Also enemy levels seem to vary quite a bit even in the same area ? I killed a few level 8 enemies and then rode a few hundred meters down the road and bumped into some level 15 ones who promptly killed me :mad:

Having a lot of fun though apart from these couple of niggles.

I always just know because Bayek says something like "I should be careful here". Plus all of the areas like that have red banners and stuff.
 
I nearly bought it from there but wasn't sure how reliable they were. I ended up buying it from cdkeys for £39.99.

I used SCDkey for first time getting this game, they were okay so will use them going forward, but yeah CDKeys is my go to place. Though its only £37.99 on CDkeys then throw in 5% discount code off facebook, should have been slightly less then £39.99 :eek:

Basically for enemies, if you go to the map and zoom out you can see the regions have two numbers next to a shield sign. That will denote the typical level of enemies you will encounter. If they are a fair few levels higher, they will one shot you. There are few spots with higher level enemies in lower level regions, but usually stay to one specific place guarding high level loot. However those red symbols with the spears pointing up which leads Bayek to say something like "I should be careful here" are military camps which attack on sight. The more spears (1 spear, 2 spear etc) the higher larger the encampment.
