It's not that obscene considering it's with DDR3.

DDR3 makes no difference. Lots of people have gotten well over 600mhz with great clocking DDR2.

The chipset really is that good.

Not very stable. I'm putting too much voltage through mine, but I'll back it off if I can get 500x8 Prime95 stable. And I'm under water.

LOL - it comes to something when beta bios's are released 'unofficially' before even the Asus reps get them .

You had any problems with the 704, some people are reporting problems with it.
