ASUS Rampage IV Black Edition: The Ultimate LGA2011 Motherboard

The problem still exists with the VRM's on the rear of the board. To be honest unless your pushing 1.45+ V its no need to water cooling!!

looks great though!!!

I thought that the Intel recommendation was 1.35v and under? It know it didnt matter with previous architecture but how is it with IB-E?

My RIVE BE ready for action.

Gonna hit 3 x 780 3D 11 this weekend with RAM on LN2. Interestingly this board is amazing with RAM. I did 2700+ C7-10-7-22 with TRFC at 64 this weekend quad channel on LN2 while testing XTU and 11 efficiency.

looks like you got over excited and jizzed all over it haha.

Kidding! Such a nice looking motherboard, I wish I could have!

I know clone its just a shame im moving to the x79 platform so I just want to get it and get it all built and enjoy my purchase lol but knowing my luck they'll get the board and the avexir ram I ordered will be late ( although I can change out the ram easy enough lol)

Just phoned Ocuk and they said that the Black edition mobo will not be out until the end of the month. I dont think i can wait that long if im honest as im already using a laptop that isnt the best and my main PC motherboard broke.

Trouble is my old mobo was a rampage 2 extreme and it was fully watercooled. Its very hard to find one even on ebay, i found one in Korea but they want £250 for it!! Ridiculous price.

Can you go and see if there is any in the members market for me as i cannot view anything in there cause of my low post count.
cheers

Could you elaborate on this please? Back of the board meaning the VRMs right at the top or?
