Yeah i seen your post on the ROG forum. I just hope that they are released for xmas. I dont want to pre-order from here unless somebody OFFICIAL can come into this thread and confirm an almost definitive date. I think if the r4be goes past xmas and into the new year i dont think ill bother then. Ill just wait for Haswell-E in summer 2014 as much of the excitement before xmas will be gone.

Yes this is looking more and more like vapourware. Its a pity they have no real competition in this space, I wonder if Gigabyte are planning any new shiny X79 mobos.

I feel I have to just continue on without it, but I'm sure my z68 and i5 2500k would have done me until Haswell-E.

Well after looking at the options, probably going for a 4790k and ramp it up to 4.8ghz or so.

Given that the preorder has been going now for over 2 months presumably OcUK are confident they will get enough boards in the first delivery to fulfil the number of orders or they would have shut the preorder down.....wouldn't they ???
