ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM

Well I'm jealous then, would buy the LG without hesitation. I've contacted like 5 shops including official LG shop and nobody has any idea when it's going to be released here, not even their suppliers.
I know, right!? It's seriously the best oled monitor I ever had! The matte coating is surprisingly amazing while colors are still vibrant and reflections gets eliminated big time. Black is 100% black and the remote is very handy too. If only grey uniformity was not bad, I wouldn't have returned it.

I hope it will be available soon in your country! You would love it too.

Hoping the Asus is actually better pound for pound, I've kind of reduced my choices to this Asus if it delivers (may get it regardless) and then replace it for a 49" Samsung G9 that will be glossy if this is better than the LG hopefully.

The grey uniformity is not bad on every unit, is it? I thought that's basically up to panel lottery. Or is the Asus different when it comes to grey uniformity?

Yep, not every unit indeed. My LG OLED tv has bad grey uniformity too and since it's only for watching tv and streaming service, not much of a problem. For monitors, it's annoying because you do a lot on it. Asus simply uses the LG panel, I only hope their screen can maintain a higher brightness due to their heatsink and doesn't have bad contrast ratio. But unfortunately Asus has the reliability of a goat and they don't even know when their oled monitors will be actually released. So far the LG 27GR95QE-B is very amazing.

Surprisingly the Asus is available here and it is tempting me a lot, but I'm trying to be strong and wait for reviews :)
If the LG releases before the Asus reviews then I'll get the LG immediately.

Yeah, I would buy the LG version in a heartbeat. But for now, I gotta wait it out for the Asus review to be out. How much does the Asus version cost in your country? Kinda surprised no one bought it yet or someone bought it? One unit was sold within 5 hours or less and I had no idea. I know the feeling it's tempting. It sucks the Asus has no remote and navigation buttons are where I use my new vesa mount with gas spring. So yeah, it's gonna be very tedious to keep changing settings.

The Asus costs about 1348 euro and it seems to have been sold today so it's out of stock now. The LG seems to be available in your country: https://www.coolblue.nl/product/923630/lg-ultragear-oled-27gr95qe-b.html
I agree that the remote is a nice thing to have, though I think you can adjust settings on the Asus through a PC app.

Damn, ROG tax? The only real reason why Asus is tempting is because of heatsink and completely eliminating the ABL. Though some settings has very less aggressive ABL on the LG. But other than that, that's about it. Gamery design looks hideous but again, own vesa mount makes it less hideous. And PC app? So more bloatware lol. Once you use the remote, you can't live with it anymore lol. I'd rather have settings changed through monitor itself because maybe my brother wants to game on it using his PS console.

And yes, I'm suprised the LG is back on stock and that store is probably the best because they don't take days when something is returned.

More like corrupt government tax, the LG will probably cost about the same.

I think someone on reddit was saying about the Asus that it also gets dim when you have a fully white screen and that there's no setting to get rid of it, but I'm not 100% sure about this.

Then it makes LG even a better choice than Asus. But the person who wrote that probably didn't see the setting. I think it's called Brightness Uniformity.

Corsair is way too late and won't it be available for pre-order this May? If yes, the first units will probably available in June or later and region dependant. But it's nice to see they doesn't downgrade to HDMI 2.0 like Asus does. Very stupid move!

Apparently the Asus supports VRR on PS5, so the HDMI 2.0 seems like a non-issue. https://www.reddit.com/r/Monitors/comments/120kf3w/got_the_new_asus_pg27aqdm_two_days_ago_in_the_uk/

The Asus also just went up for preorder on the largest Czech electronics eshop. No release date yet but should be very soon. I really need the reviews ASAP.

Oh great, it makes me wanna rebuy the LG 27GR95QE lol. I love this monitor and it looks very slick too. Asus their navigation buttons are on a very inconvenient place like what the hell??

With the LG on the other hand if you lose or break the remote I think you can't adjust the settings anymore. If I buy the Asus then I'll probably use the app to change settings.
