Doesn't apply to my situation sadly. My GPU threw a fan blade and apparently this service doesn't cover that so best check the fine print...

if its the GPU fan that threw a blade and damaged the GPU surely it should be under this warranty also as the GPU basically self destructed itself.

Asus should be grateful no1 was harmed when it threw the blade out.


also this new Asus warranty seems great but I have noticed the premium on Asus products since this new service has came out.

imo Corsair have the no.1 warranty if only they did GPUs

I also contacted Asus regarding cooler removal, their official response for OcUK returns:

So if customer ask, we need to give a clear answer => we do not suggest to do so, but if they do, than OK (unless damage is caused by replaced cooler or damage happens during removal / installation of a cooler).

This Asus thing still running?

He should get a notification now, imagine he's a busy guy so could be a few days to reply, if there is no reply I'd presume the turbo RMA has ended.:)
 
@Gibbo this is why I bought the Strix ASUS, gives me peace of mind :), no need for modding the card or VRM's when you have this excellent warranty !!! - I helped sell one of the cards infact :D. Thanks again, my card was having coil whine but it seems to have no disappeared

Run a good hour of Furmark/unigine valley , then try gaming and look to see if coil.whine has calmed down . Every card will get coil whine, anyone that's closed down unigine valley will confirm.you get 5 seconds of the card screaming !
