I just sent my board off yesterday. Last Tuesday i submitted my details, Thursday i received an A5 envelope with the DHL sticker / details of how to contact DHL for pickup. There's no email in the middle I don't think or my mailbox ate it.

Don't take the board out until the day / day before you have arranged pickup by DHL.

Was it definately DHL, as they have been using UPS up to now?

I know it doesn't really matter either way, but I think that UPS are probably the 'better' courier of the two.

I submitted online form last Tuesday 14/06 and got the sticker on Thursday16/06 I called the Friday 17/06 to arrange pick up on Monday 20/06

2 Evenings without My PC and im already got the shakes.... I hope it comes sooner than later :) Is there someone i can email and get it done faster if i make a BS story up lol

If the picked it up on Monday, you should get it back tomorrow (Wednesday).
You can't really expect anything qucker than that!

It all depends on the stock levels of your particular model, if they have it then the turn around is pretty quick, if not they have to order it in which can take some time depending on the model in question. Email Jay if you need more info on your particular case.

You're totally right it's UPS. And UPS are by a mile the worst courier for me (depot is 35 miles away, the never sodding give it to a neighbour, open hours for pickup are terrible) but that's a personal thing.

The one they picked up from me on Monday is being delivered tomorrow - just got a mail from Jay to confirm. This was a standard P8P67.

Mine was picked up last Thursday and still no sign of my replacement. Mine is a P8P67 Pro. Will email Jay to see what is happening if it does not arrive today.

I owe Asus a small apology, my board arrived yesterday but nobody told me about it until this morning. One week turnaround is okay in my book, considering they must be busy right now.

I ordered my board end of February, and after finding it had the issue a week alter, I sent it in for the swap. The new board came back end of April, just as I went on holiday for 2 weeks, then when I got back I discovered that the new board was faulty, so RMA'd it and am STILL waiting on getting another one, and it's now nearly July. I appreciate I've been unlucky but I'll think twice before buying ASUS again.

Assuming that you RMA'd your board directly to Asus, I would email Jay Parmar ([email protected]) and ask him to chase it up for you.

I wouldn't have thought that you should have to wait that long before you received a replacement.

My first RMA was directly with ASUS, which took a couple of months, but then the board they sent me was faulty, and ASUS told me to contact Overclockers, who took the RMA, and in turn returned it to ASUS, who i'm now waiting on again!

I've just contacted Overclockers RMA to see what they say.

You are so right - wait for it.....Mobo collected by UPS 3 weeks ago today. Emails sent to Jay twice and both times he's only been able to tell me board is on order and will be sent out when in stock - can't give an eta, no mobo, no WoT...... :(

mobo is p8p67m-pro

Funny enough I'm waiting for the exact same board. Guess it is the main ones they are having trouble sourcing in large enough numbers.

I don't know how long either of you had the forms before returning them, but I think it was wrong of Asus to offer to collect boards knowing that they didn't have any replacements actually in stock at that time.

It is no consolation I know, but I also had one of that particular model (the micro ATX variant) replaced right at the start of the scheme, early in April, and it was despatched on the same day they received my faulty board.

Most retailers (including OcUK) currently have these in stock, so you shouldn't hopefully have to wait too much longer... it is a poor show though.

I expect retailers get priority on the UK stocks, but I totally agree with what you are saying.

Thankfully for me, I was able to purchase another board to tide me over, however for those that can't I wouldn't wait more than a few weeks before starting to press a bit harder for a different model to speed things up. Especially if that board is the basis of your only system.

Only have a matx case so need the m-pro back really. Some is my own fault - I did sit on the label for a while before I could part with my beloved board. Now spent every evening for three weeks with my missus. Even pleaded that argument with Jay, begging him to save me from the torture that is a non PC life. Bought myself a 3d telly to cheer up with though! :)
