**ATI RADEON 7800 SERIES NOW AVAILABLE!!**

looking around the net the highest stable clocks ive seen on the 7850 are -

1140 gpu
1580 memory

Actual 3D performance gained from overclocking is 18.7%

thats just amazing :D

nice

check this graph out i know its not the most taxing game lol but take into account the res and the cards that cost twice as much both the 7850/70 are amazing overclockers and temp only goes up 2-3 degrees on load

Well I have to say i'm chuffed to bits, maxed out CCC settings for both core and mem on stock volts and doesn't go over 61C full load, while being completely silent.

A single 6 pin, low power, low temp, silent card is giving 480/570/6970's a run for their money.

I honestly don't know why people would choose 480's and the like over these.

this is what ive been trying to tell ppl but some still think the 480 is a better buy

Hex are you going to see if you can take it beyond CCC's limits? You could probably top out at 1.1Ghz.

I will go higher, probably on the weekend when I have more time to fiddle with it, for now i'm happy with maxed CCC limits on stock volts :D

I'll play some games through the week and if they are all stable at 1050/1450 then i'll ramp it up some more ;)

The 480 is £100 cheaper though. If you are on a budget, then the 480 is a viable option.

No it isn't the card I'm using is the MSI 7850, it's £199.99, you can get other brands for around £190.

Come on adey and liamcrane, lets see some info from you, clocked yours up yet? Opinions? :D

having problems with mine :(

Couldnt get a driver to install when the card was in the slot my 460 came out of so after a couple of hours trying different drivers i eventually (after a couple of attempts) got it installed in the second pcie slot which is close to my psu.

I ran heaven @ stock with results close to yours but temps up around 70 and louder than expected , so have not gone above stock clocks yet.

I'm not sure if the psu is contributing to the higher temps so i'm going to try again tonight.
