Banging my head against the walll here.

Why will ATiTool not display volts and fan speeds?

I go to properties and then tick all of the boxes and click ok, nothing happens.

I go into settings and its the same as before, missing something?

Ah right now trying BETA 15 and its showing everything but when I try and set the clocks they just default back, even after I created a new profile?

I gave up trying to OC my card. Its such a chore. My old x1800XL was so easy and you got huge results.

With the above my card runs @720/840 24/7 stock cooler in a matx case, gpu temp sits at around 62 while playing BF2 Maxed out and around 70 3dmark looping

atiwinflash. Rename the Toxic.edited to Toxic.edited.rom to use it, host wouldnt let me upload a rom file

Anyone know why when I set clock speeds they just revert back to default? I have disabled the ATI services and removed them from processes but no joy.

Have you got any details on how to use Rivatuner I'm setting the clocks but don't think they are working!

and did you flash that bios on a stock x1900xt?

Ye My cards a standard xt, but its got a sexy HIS cooler, specs in sig

Enter low-level system settings, tick enable low level overclock, select your clocks, tick apply overclock at windows start up, reboot.

To check ** clocks are running at desired speed, go into hardware monitoring check the red dot at the lower left, go game or 3dmark then check back

Rivatuner auto detects 3d and theres also no need to disable any ati services!

Untick preserve requested clocks in ccc ati overdrive tab aswell

CCC overclocking, well done for lower mem timings.

Overclocking needs time. IT WILL WORK IF DONE CORRECTLY.

Follow my guide to the letter and you will be fine.

Reinstall of windows with Omegas 99% sorts everything.

Also disabling services is a must for Beta 14 and under and beta 15 MUST have the services running. Also B15 is in the "alpha" stage.

What Idle Temperatures are safe for these?



Its sitting at 57 currently but rose to the temp shown when gaming.

Designed for 100+ but they all fall over at over 80/90C

Try and keep it as low as possible

ok, slightly more aggressive bios, higher fan speeds and Bumped the vcore upto 1.550 , temps still good.
