Audi owners in here!

Well after an unfortunate coming together with a Van on the M5 a few weeks ago, i took the opportunity to get the nose on my car tarted up a bit. Damage was just the front bumper and bonnet so those were replaced, and i asked the body shop to put a new grill and fog surrounds that i'd sourced, as my car is the SE Technik, it comes with the grey grill, and the new one is gloss black, its a subtle change but makes me feel a bit better!

A6 is really handsome. I prefer it to the F10 in many respects, especially in touring guise. Looks really nice :)

How about with a £6k matt grey paint job? :)

May well be one that's touring around - was at Birmingham Audi but that was two weeks ago now so could have moved on. Yeah £90k sounds about right.

Yes it's genuine - I took it lol :)

I don't think any Audi comes with LED headlights as standard just yet, although the next TT is supposed to I think and maybe the latest iteration of the R8?

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend me an Audi Dealership that they've had good experiences with in the Berkshire/Surrey area at all? I took my car to the Reading dealership a few months ago for a full service and MOT, and I wasn't impressed with them at all!

One that doesn't attempt to get you to replace parts that are fine for a start! (Idealistic I know...)

Cheers :)

So my parents refuse to go out in my car because they think the exhaust is akin to a boy racer... so putting it back to standard :/ It is the only 5 door car in the family except my Dad's work car where the fuel is free but it is a little 1.6 tdi and he hates driving it.

Great

I went into the Reading dealership yesterday, loads of salesmen standing around doing nothing but no one available to speak to me about a car. Very disappointed. Camberley however is an excellent dealership so I'd give them a go if I were you.

Reading and Oxford are very poor in my opinion (sales and parts also) having been to both a few times, in fact the parts guy at Oxford won't serve me and gets someone else to do it after I got told him off for getting my order wrong for the third time in a row, even after I took him the part number the 2nd time he still ordered the wrong part because he knew best and I was "another customer who'd got the wrong part number from the bloody internet"! (long story short, got brakes from the later version retrofitted and he couldn't understand that and kept ordering earlier version parts)

Newbury were very good but I've only been there once.

Has anyone who has a milltek exhaust had their car serviced and MOT'd at Audi? Is it a problem, do they kick up a fuss because it is not OEM? I am about to order a Milltek catback but I want to make sure it won't be a problem?

Thanks for your input guys :)

I think i'll go via the Camberley one as that's closest to work for me. Fingers crossed I get the same good service you did Panthro!

I've just agreed to trade in my much loved S4 for an RS Q3. I get it bank holiday Monday. I'm a bit worried I won't like it as much as I did the S4 but I've gone and done it now so I'll have to live with it.

You really should consult your husband prior to making decisions such as these :p

Joking aside, no doubt its a quick car, but it just looks so wrong, the Q5 is passable design wise, but the Q3, for me no!

That's one of my concerns although I do like the word quattro written in silver under the front bumper :-) The wife wouldn't drive the S4 she said it was like a tank, she says she will drive the Q3 :-(

which s4 was it out of curiosity? b7 or 8? just I've been dabbling the idea of knocking off the 2.0t a4 and upping the ante and been looking rather closely at the b7 s4 (4.2 v8 ;) rumble rumble rumble) so any info would be useful ;)

had a test drive in the boggo Q3 and it was alright, just about get the thing sliding sideways in a dry, grassy field (audi pro drive ;) ) so I imagine an RS before the name and a few more horses under the bonnet it won't be toooooo bad. imagine it would be a bit spongy in comparison. :p but stilll. pics!!! ;)

I had a Q3 on loan until my A3 saloon arrived, pig ugly but ok'ish to drive however whenever you took a corner it felt like you were going to slide out of the seats all the time.
