Can xenons be retro fitted?
Yes.
Can xenons be retro fitted?
They can be, but it isnt cheap, even if you source 2nd hand front and rear lights,i still reckon you'd be looking at best part of 1k.
Just found a quote for retro fitting with genuine parts at £1600 + VAT. I think I'll settle for what Ive got.![]()
Do it, you've saved 7K so you got a few pennies to spare lol.
Is that just the fronts? i think they will need to be coded using VCDS. The LED rears are worth looking for too.
Then that is where we differ. I like the A1 interior, everything is laid out just where you want it and prefer it more than any other 'super mini'...inc Fabia/Polo/Fiesta.
And as per The Rules, Audi has built something special to rewards its fans. The MQB-platformed A3 saloon gets that 2.5-litre five-pot - the 2010 International Engine of the Year, no less - tuned to produce 525bhp and a whopping torque figure of 443lb ft.
It's been upgraded with a bigger turbocharger capable of 1.5 bar of boost pressure, together with a modified intercooler and other unlisted ‘extensive modifications' that, if they prevent this thing grenading itself at the redline, must be extensive indeed.
Because 0-62mph takes just 3.6 seconds (making it quicker than an RS6), and it'll top out at 193mph. That's... bloody fast.
Looks fantastic. However I doubt the finished article will come with that much power.
Thats enough power to molest some of Audi's big RS cars.
Just can't see it happening.... If anything it'll be released in small numbers.
Yep limited run. 40k a piece.
My brother is looking at an RS4 for his next car (currently has the RS3) but damn that A3 Clubsport looks a way better option and I keep telling him he doesn't need a big estate.
Anyone have any contacts at Audi if he wanted to try and get on the list for one if its a limited run or best to try and go through our local Audi dealership?
It'll be for the show, they won't do a proper production run unfortunately.
Ah I missed that bit!
Thought it looked a bit good to be a production car.
