Audi owners in here!

Aye. Rediscovered the little storage tray next to the ESP button today as well :o

It's weird, I absolutely adored my Z3 Coupe. Caressed it, spoke to it. But this.. This is just a machine. So bland, so soulless :(

I feel the same way about mine to be honest. Although it's fast after some modifications and very reliable having done 15000 miles and two very hard track days it's never missed a beat. I haven't even had mine for two years and I want something different. It's just boring and bland like you say. Hoping an B7 RS4 or E92 M3 is going to different! Not necessarily faster but just more involving etc.

I loved my old 1994 Clio 2.0, yes it was broken most of the time but I loved that car and still do! It was brilliant to drive and so involving.

If you despise it so much then why get it in the first place and just stick with the Z3 coupe. I remember seeing it at a ocuk rolling road day ages ago (unless I'm thinking of someone else on here), seemed in good condition.

I don't despise it at all - it's just incredibly boring!
Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad car. It's just more boring than I ever could have imagined. I really wasn't expecting it as a Mk 6 GTI is good fun!

I sold the BMW as I thought I was staying in Denmark and couldn't justify the £13-14k import tax.
Was offered an excellent job at my previous employer so moved back in the summer and needed something practical, well-specced and with a bit of poke.

Done just over 4000 miles when we picked it up, replaced our ageing MK4 Golf, so far so good!

Returned nearly 50mpg on my home commute, 10 mins of motorway and 20 mins of town driving.

Got the exact same car colour and all as my nhs work car but have the b&o sound system :) love it and done around 12k miles so far in it from new

Just had a neighbour knock on my door and tell me my car sounded like it was going to take off.

Turns out it makes a lot of noise if you stop the engine when it's doing the DPF nonsense.

Wasn't going to Audi for this but I ended up having a go in a 14 plate 2.0T TT today. If I'm honest I wasn't impressed. It was averagely fast but felt a lot slower than it was. Sounded like a diesel, sounded a bit better from outside but could hear more road noise than exhaust note inside. Was quite unresponsive too. For £30k (I think) youd have thought you'd get more than average performance, little space inside and no drama. Money no object Id still stick with my 55 plate 2.0T A3!

Why would you expect it to be any faster than your A3 given its pretty much the same car in a different body?

Hadnt appreciated they were that similar. I presumed an age gap of almost 10 years would be enough for it to be different! Along with a bit more power
