Audi owners in here!

Just had my A4 Avant go in for a service (done just over 36k miles) which was part of the service plan bought by the previous owner, the last one on that service plan.

Is it worth(/can you) buying another service plan? Looking at the service plan that was bought before, it was £299. The service I've just had done would have been £247 had it not been included in the plan.

So assuming they are worth getting? Do they increase in price much with mileage etc?

Most manufacturers will do them for pretty much any age of car and cover x number of services, it will just be a case of reading the specific print in case it only covers certain services. Any I've been offered are to the manufacturer schedule though

I thought about buying one for the Honda as the plan would have been about £150 or so less than paying for the next 3 even with discount - but tbh it's pretty rare for me to have a car that long.

Well, replaced the A2 Tdi with... another A2 :)

1.6FSi but with all the trimmings this time.

Leather, moon roof, BOSE, leather, DIS, the works.

This thing has been looked after, 1 owner, full Audi service history and looks and drives like a brand new car. Especially compared to the old one.

Oh and half the mileage helps.

Oh and leather :D

That's awesome. Great spec as well. Enjoy!

Which garage / dealerships does everyone have experience with ? i am not too fussed where it is as i will only go there to buy the car and any warranty issues can be dealt with by Doncaster...

So far i have spoke too

JCT600 - Doncaster
Sytner - Leeds & Wakefield
Jardine - Manchester & Milton Keynes
Vindis - Cambridge
Swansway Garages - Stoke

Its probably too late to be useful to you but Essex Audi (Chelmsford branch for me) have been on the mark for the last 5 cars out of their showroom (Only one was mine, rest for relatives).

I've also used Stockport Audi but I found their staff pretty unhelpful.

I love the indicator lights on the new A7.

Not sure how old it is, but saw my first car with them on a few weeks ago, and saw another yesterday which reminded me.

More new Audis

Do you think they will ever make one good enough for you to want to keep it? :p

If i can get these two they will be the last, me and the wife have separated and argue over the A7, so this will be our final cars for a while as financing will dictate it.

Wow, like the R8 has it's own "mini-me" in the TTRS it looks like the RS6 now has one too with the new shape RS3, I like! :D

Anyone find the S line seats (alcantara/leather combination specifically) really uncomfortable over long distances?

My old A3 wasn't too bad(full leather S line) but my lower back is killing me after a couple of hours in the A4. Makes me miss the F10 I had for work.

Does the TT have a slightly offset accelerator pedal out of curiosity blackhawk?

The A4 has a traditional manual style drop down pedal (despite being multitronic) instead of a lever pedal which is ridiculous and nearly put me off buying it - anyway, I feel its slightly offset.
