Audi owners in here!

Well if they try to charge me anything after the hassle I have had getting them to even ring back about it.....well I shall politely tell them where to shove their emergency key :p

Swapped my RS3 order to the other dealer at Worthing. Managed to get them to knock 4.2% off the price in total and they have changed the spec and the build week has held at 48.

So money off. Car sooner. But I have to go fetch it ha!

There is a lot of talking today about the new M2. Apparently they are specifically targeting the RS3 with it and they are limiting UK numbers to 500

Can't stop watching videos of the new TT. Just think its stunning and definitely a 'next car' for me. It costs a little to much at the moment so going to have to hold off as can't really justify changing mine at the moment. (TTS is even more dear...)

Leasing is pretty cheap
Same model as your video above : TT 2.0 TFSI S Line (230) : 3x£360 inc Vat @ 8k miles per year.
Comes with Virtual Cockpit and the dynamic rear indicator lights :p

Probably find it a bit cheaper if you look around

Think my A4 is broken. MPG steadily getting worse and worse - used to get 650+ miles from a tank on a run without too much hassle, cant get more than 550 now from a solely motorway trip and current tank is a 3rd full and has done 270 miles from full (admittedly doing my commute but thats mostly A roads and a dual carriageway, 10 miles each way).

2009 2.0 TDI with 140k on the clock so not like its not run in lol.

Tyres are inflated and nothing seems wrong with the power delivery etc.

Any ideas?

Not so sure leasing is for me. Think PCP is a bit better. Though I'd probably look at a used model not new. I would want s-line, sat nav etc. Plus I'd say I do at least 12-15k miles.

Drove a TTS on Sunday - very nice motor and shifts pretty well. The virtual cockpit dash is awesome :)

Saw a TTS this morning...looked very nice and the noise it made when pulling away from the petrol station was very pleasing :D

I've heard one too and have to disagree. Was clearly DSG equipped and sounded boring "vrooooooooooooom peh'vrooooooooooom"

Not entertaining at all.

I think I might have asked this before but still an issue...

Could anyone share some tips/advice diagnosing intermitted misfires on the TFSI engines? Common faults perhaps?

B8 1.8T ...Had it checked over when the multitronic box was getting serviced but no fault codes and plugs aren't due to be replaced for another 10k.

Runs fine at idle, no unusual roughness when you lift the hood - Misfire only occurs under load. If, for example I'm sitting at 50 and plant my foot for an overtake it shudders and loses power - In the same fashion my old 2.0T A3 did when a coil pack on cylinder 3 went however, that through a specific code and was much more violent, even stuttering and running majorly rough at idle after it happened - luckily I could limp to the dealers.

One thing I will note however, car was absolutely fine last night, 30 mile trip with a few blasts and faultless...It was dry! Today the weather was torrential on the motorway and the misfires started happening again, a lot! Could it be the weather?

Appreciate it's probably a different 1.8T but mine has never thrown a code when a coil pack dies, and it's been through a few of them.

The demise of mine would take a familiar course of the odd hesitation when asked to accelerate, followed by noticeably jerky misfires when running, to just spluttering at idle. When it did this, I just pulled them out one by one until I found the one that didn't make it worse and then replaced it with one of the spares I keep in the boot :) It could take weeks or even months from the first signs of hesitation before it went into full on death though, often with miles and miles of perfect running in between.

No, it is not normal for cars to misfire because it's raining.

It's misfired before on dry days; I don't remember specifically if the day before these occurrences were wet, leaving dampness on the electrics, hence the question.

Noted: Thought about pulling them but these newer TFSIs have a wiring harness spanning every pack. You can't pull them one by one?
