That's good news, I know the trailer is platted at 750KG but the jet ski only comes in at 300/350KG. So does that mean illegal to pull using that? If so I may have to look at a A3.

I'm not sure, sorry. I would've thought that the combined weight of the trailer and the load would have to be <610kg. Does the trailer really weigh 260kg?

I'd like to see you're S1 towing a matching jet ski on the back.

In fact, I've never seen an A1 towing anything, ever. :p

Well the S1 would need to be Black and Yellow and have nearly double the power to match. :p

It's a fair point, I'm just looking for a shopping car which can tow as and when but its not all the time.

My new (to me) S5 convertible

I'm loving it so far, best car I've owned by a mile :)

Nice s5.

Do people ever haggle the service/mot costs with main dealerships? Are they strictly fixed? My service plan ended and next service due next month....

Damb, a simple cambelt and water pump change has turned into an £800 bill.

They've found a leak :(

My leak (well, pond where the drivers foot-well should be), turned into £1,600 and two and a half weeks. I'm glad I asked for a loan car for that job, I also miss my Alfa's reliability at this point. :-/

Apparently mines a common issue on the 1.8T engine. Need to replace ?dvt gasket, rocker cover, cam chain etc...

Apparently the oil leak will perish the new timing belt that is getting put on.

Hasn't been a great 2 months of ownership so far :(

 thats not a good bill to hit with after 2 months of ownership.. where did you buy it? was it a dealer or private? just wondering if you could try and get some of that back if it was a dealer.

this sort of thing reminds me why I do all my own servicing and repairs on my own car.

Not really bad luck, this is what happens when cars get old.

Except Japanese cars.

not all cars.

my nissan micra is almost 10 years old and going strong mate.

BM's and Mercs are very reliable as well.
Cars should be more reliable these days with latest tech and innovation.
