Daytona grey pearlescent. I originally wanted the car in Scuba blue, but couldn’t get a car built to spec in the timeframe I wanted, so ended up with the Daytona grey, which I’m actually really happy with.
Do you tailgate or something? I’m 22 months into the S3 and have about 3 stone chips in total.Get yourself to a detailer and put a ceramic coating on. The audi paint is absolutely rubbish.
Mine's already covered in stone chips and only drive to work and back (5 miles away!!!). Wish I'd done it before collection.
That still annoys me on my S-Tronic. Also you have to have it reset often as over time is loses its smoothness probably due to me running it in sport manual mode 95% of the time. You will when it confused at a roundabout / junction.

It was an optional extra, in the B8 platform it only came as standad if you opted for "parking system plus" (which is front and rear sensors).
99 times out of 100 it's something that can be coded in, as most (but not all) revisions of the parking system module have support for OPS (optical parking system). Someone local with access to VCDS should be able to code it in within 5 minutes.
I coded it onto my A6 (C6/4F platform) which only had a 4-channel (rear) module.
If you want to help prevent stone-chips, yes. But it will stand out from the normal paintwork (even the best films do), and won't stop 100% of them. It's the film I want isn't it, not a ceramic coating

Just wanted to add a quick review of my 2018 S4 Saloon which i have had for 3 weeks now
Performance : Coming from a 2016 Golf R estate , the performance of the Saloon is extremely fast it is still very easy to loose your license. The biggest difference i found was the Torque convertor vs the Dual Clutch i guess i preferred the dual clutch smoothness as the Torque convertor can be a bit hesitant at low speeds. I know that the Torque convertor is the industry standard now..
Comfort: There is a big step up in refinement compared to the R, the level of comfort , leather and overall quiteness of the cabin is amazing. The longer wheelbase , insulation make it a much more refined ride
Looks: I think it looks stunning in Navarra blue, i would have preferred the Avant and Black edition , but the chrome has grown on me
Extra's : Almost everything is extra on a New Audi, I have just the VC and folding mirrors and Rear camera. I miss the Radar Cruise Control of the Golf R, it was a £1500 option on the S4 , Ouch ...
Summary: Just about everything from the Google Audi connect and the overall refinement is a step above the Golf R
I am sure there are a few others on here who jumped from the Golf R to the S4 , would be good to hear your thoughts
Some Pics (excuse the poor quality)
