Test drove the new A6 50TDI this morning - great to drive. Just speccing one up now and have added the following - any big 'must-have' options that I've missed?

• Metallic paint
• Tech Pack
• Privacy Glass
• Auto dim wing mirrors
• HU Display

Petrol engine? I jest (only diesel of course).

I'd like the comfort and sound pack, but that's just me.

The 6-cyl diesel sounded surprisingly nice (the 4-cyl didn't).

The standard stereo sounded surprisingly good IMO so I'd rather put the 2k on Heads-Up (and have a bit of change)

Getting in the car today, found the passenger seat was horizontal. Tried to set it upright, wouldn't stay! Anyone had this? It's only 6mo old.

Rear end is far to fussy for my tastes

I think this colour combination does it no favours at all and once again, far to fussy for my tastes.

Looks OK from the size, not much change here really and the colour contrasts are a bit crappy

But Audi is still king of the interior in my view.

Tiptronic in the 50. You can't change gearbox at the moment which seems daft.

I test drove both and it really feels like they've put the better engine with the **** gearbox and vice versa

Nope, Stoke Audi. They have special skills.

Makes sense. They usually put the Tiptronic with the higher torque engines.

The tiptronic is a ZF8HP isn't it? Much better than S Tronic.

I think the new R8 looks good. Its often the way that changes look bad to start with, but over time as the trends move then the older one can look more dated.

Really nice. Not sure on the colours picked.

As a lowly TT driver I prefer the round TT air vents, but damn the interiors are so similar. I just love the uncluttered look that the VC allows to be introduced.

Oh just spotted a massive issue it the new R8! Steering wheel is on the wrong side
