Audi owners in here!

Interesting, do you work for a car company?
Seems to be a very swift swap over of cars, don't they get murdered on depreciation?

If you start speccing bits and bobs, it might have to be factory made and you would be looking at close to three months for delivery if they don't have a stock option for you.
I work (in IT) for a car leasing company so the scheme is different to a normal company car scheme. They're all factory orders as far as I know and can take approx 6 months for delivery.

Yep! This is my first one though, only been there a few months. Tossing up between A3 S-Line, Golf GT Tdi or a Scirocco as my first one. Been driving a V reg Focus for 5 years so will be quite a step up!

That will be a lovely jump.

I ordered an A4 this morning, sorry Fox, I didn't put a nice engine in it, I kept it as the Eco diesel. Maybe next time. Price battered about a bit, and things ordered now with the xenons and interior light package, steering wheel, lifeshine throw in as well as the protection package, so I'm happy enough, over 4 years it'll be just under £300 a month. With just over 9 left at the end.
It'll likely be November before I see it.

Am now an Audi owner, went to look at a car to replace the S2000 and it was good so bought it and just got home with it.

Nothing too special as was trying to keep costs down, 53 plate A3 3.2 Sport, with DSG, in what I believe is Moro Blue. Nice surprise when I went to have a look was xenons and Bose which weren't mentioned in the ad.

Looked at just about anything and everything within my budget this week and this was the best. Originally was out for a 330 of some description but all the ones I looked at had something up with them, and wasn't such a fan of the engine/auto box in them.

The 3.2 feels like it's got a bit more of a sportier tune to it than the 330 which felt nice and lazy, but just preferred the Audi.

Joining the Audi owners club shortly.

Placed an order today for a 2013 A3 Sportback S-Line.

Apparently the demand is high at the moment, so I have a short wait before I take delivery.

Really enjoying the car so far, engine is lovely, nice and relaxing when you want it to be but also fun and pretty effortless.

It's definitely more of a GT than hot hatch feeling though, which is exactly what I was looking for :)

You can do some quite funky reprogramming of the DSG box to reduce shift times (although it does make it a bit more clunky).

Guy at work had his done before moving on to his S5 cab.

The box is lovely, stupidly quick changes as it is so that must be mental.

I did a fairly long journey as a passenger in one of my colleagues cars today, a new Audi A4 Avant S-Line 177bhp Diesel. I am now really starting to question the German damping on UK roads, it's getting worse not better. What a TERRIBLE ride for a car that is supposed to be an executive saloon. The thing felt every bump, didnt seem to deal very well with undulations and felt very unsettled. It did have BIG wheels on it, which won't of helped the ride any but I just felt the entire car was utterly pointless as I know, even without driving it, it would not be 'sporty' so is really looks over substance. I am lost as to the appeal of these cars as it made my 5 series feel smooth, which is saying something as that too had crap damping, but not Audi crap.

S-Lines with the 18" rims are shockingly bad on our roads, really poor ride with no give at all. Its not a great car to do big miles in, even the SE left me with back ache after a 3 hour drive, but I put that down to the basic unsupportive seats, which were leather might I add.

Definitely style over substance. Why anyone would buy this with their own money, i'll never understand. My outgoing Accord was pretty much better in every way, apart from the infotainment and LED DRL's:p

colleague has a4 black edition and its similar. it likes to tram line too.

however my previous a6 s-line (18" rim) was much much smoother and comfortable. my current s5 is better too.

i think the weight of the car and wheel must have a lot to do with it.

There's a new A4 TDI S-Line saloon in our office car park and that has the pimp 19" alloys (Black Edition I suspect). I always thought the ride would be rubbish...

I think it is a black edition as it has the 19 inch wheels on it. Very unimpressed, takes me back to why I hated the one my wife had so much.

When I test drove the A4 SE Technik 2.0 TDIe, it comes with 17inch tyres, and something different in the suspension due to the tyres and e engine economy, probably less sporty, but I test drove it for a 15 miles circuit, motorway, a road, and bumpy as hell cut to pieces country lane style roads. I must say it felt totally smooth the entire time.
I do hope it isn't different when mine finally arrives. I guess bigger tyres don't help the s-line and the black.
