Johnny Herbert finally speaks up something positive for Seb in that he controlled any attack from mercedes at the front very well. As soon as they got within DRS seb managed to extend the gap again.

He always does in Australia, lets not forget Australia does have a very real racist problem which is not reported on much.

You can't be serious what a load of BS just like the same stuff Toto is saying about a software glitch costing them

I bet it was LH going to slow (Toto nannies him big time now since that whole big issue when LH threatened to basically strike)

People boo him because he is a spoiled brat who is a big phony

Isn't it obvious that the reason Vettel came out ahead is that the time lost in a pit stop is massively less when everyone else is at VSC/safety car speed, it's nothing to do with keeping to Delta's etc...

So basically according to Toto mercedes lost because of their own software and not the VSC itself.

It won't be portrayed in that way with Sky though!

No, Mercedes said it was due to their software, so we must believe them.

Have you actually lived in Australia? Have any Australian friends? Or even Googled it before you come out with OMG BS statements?

You'd think they'd just accept it - they didn't do anything wrong, they had to cover Kimi - you cant assume there will be a safety car. Unless your sub team causes one and when that fails get them to sabotage their second car too - got to admire Hass's commitment to their partner.

Just saw ted kravitz thoughts on the situation and came with all his timings. The amount of effort they have gone into trying to point out Hamilton was hard done by is shocking. He gained advantage last year in Spain due to VSC but that's been completely forgotten apparently. In Bahrain Mercedes had a lifeline with vsc but lost out due to messing their stops, otherwise Bottas had a shot at jumping vettel too.

I think I'd feel hard done by too - didn't make any mistakes but ended up second, lost to a random element, but you never know, Hamilton could just as easily be gifted a race the same way later this season.

I have a lot of family over their and a few members of the family are not "white"

Every country has racism.

There is a silly pattern from people thinking all LH troubles are because of this reason

Whining about the VSC when it goes against them, happy to accept the track position boost when it favours them. Typical politics of the big F1 teams. Blaming software, blaming Haas, blaming calculations, etc.. all total ********. It's luck of the draw. You could pit and try the undercut, to only come out to find a massive accident and the safety car deployed. It's racing. Stuff happens.

In other news, it's good to see some close racing (and a number of cars at a similar pace), although prolonged close racing is still massively hampered by the skyrocketing engine temperatures and current aero. P5 for Alonso though.

I hate it (but accept something needed to be done) but you know what... I didn't notice it today until the drivers were getting out of the car. I'd forgot all about it. Perhaps there was enough action in the race to make me forget, perhaps FOM lengthened shots to minimise its visibility, perhaps I was just half asleep, but for the 95% of the race I forgot it was there.

Why do they boo him every year then? Also does every country have "white only bars", as Australia does? Before you ask they do in Katherine NT as I used to supply them :)
