AVATAR: FRONTIERS OF PANDORA

Just over half the main story into this now. Graphically it's by far the best I've seen, it's stunning maxed out, the story is an utter snooze fest though.

Very tiring having to go see someone, listen to some poor voice acting and have them tell me to see someone else, then someone else, oh, more RDA, rinse and repeat.
Pretty much sums up most of Ubisoft open world games.

Oh and Starfield...

Was looking forward to this so hoping one day it go on sale, maybe come to Stream. Visals look amazing, am gonna guess the best way to enjoy the game is stick to the main story so you can finish the game faster so it doens't get too repeative.

SAD NOISES INTENSIFYING

Probably 2-3 hours left until the ending too :-|

Anyone running this on a 7900xtx? I'm playing at 3440x1440 ultra settings. Native is around 50-60 fps? doesn't feel great so using FSR Quality and I'm around 70-110 fps and still looks great. Just wondering if this is about right?

6900XT here. I was getting over 70 fps indoors at the beginning but as soon as I went outside I was dropping as low as 35 native. FSR Quality boosted me up to an average of 80+. It's actually only the second game I've used FSR on (the first being Robocop); my monitor is only 75Hz so that's my usual target.

i picked up avatar a few days ago and and very impressesd so far, 7950x and a 7900xtx at 4k getting around 70-90fps but i found the frame generation option in settings and when i enable this my frame rate increases to 130-177fps, beautiful colours throughout the game, something fresh and exciting to play, game world is very big too with plenty of side quests to keep you going.

would recommend to anyone to buy and give it a playthrough!

Anyone playing this at 1440p with a 3080? What sort of fps can you get at DLSS quality or maybe balanced?

Using mix of high/ultra at 3440x1440 with dlss balanced, usually about 70/80+ fps with some dips to 60s. FSR 3 (with upscaling and FG) gives you higher fps obviously but it's not as good looking and it has frame pacing issues and the UI areas have 30hz refresh rate with screen tearing, which is pretty distracting imo.

Thanks mate. I guess I'll pick it up when LtMatt has a few more codes

Very much want to play this but the price is just so eye wateringly high.

honestly its a price worth paying, ubisoft has the best offer atm at £44, other sites are a bit more for the basic edition, i picked it up and have no regrets. the map is huge and there is loads of side quets to do, 32hrs in and 48% complete so far (i'm doing all the side quests as i go with the main story.

Yeah I wondered what was going on with the UI. It was distracting so I went back to DLSS
