Sadly it appears to be AMD FSR only in Avatar. Cant use the frame gen setting on my 4070 in game, which is a pity as frame gen is worth a big jump in fps.I think it's NVIDIA 4x series only.

I think they added it with FSR3? I have no idea what any of it is though
So far though, first impressions are good, done 2 hours, graphics are gorgeous all maxed out in 4k. Gameplay mechanics feel like some sort of cross between Division, Assassins Creed and Far Cry. I really like the way it auto hides your HUD so that you can feel the full effect of the graphics, Snowdrop engine continuing to be one of my favourite engines, cant wait to see what they do with Snowdrop in The Division 3
I'm getting 60 on the nose when indoors and about 50-52 when outdoors in normal distance jungle, so not hitting the "magical" 60 outside but its eminently playable at 50 anywayWhat's your fps like? I'm sure @mrk was teetering around 60 on a 4090 maxed out and that wasn't at 4k.

Using DLSS Performance is excellent at 4K+ resolutions as Digital Foundry have shown in recent times (it's nearly the same render res as DLSS Quality at 1440p) - Nevertheless, Performance DLSS has come a long way. Getting 75fps+ (90fps average, ~110fps peak) on a 4090 on the Ultra preset. It drops to 55fps on the Unobtanium preset though - Once a DLSS Frame Gen mod comes out, we should be seeing over 100fps at all times on a 4090 on the Unobtanium preset lol.
No definitely not unobtanium, I mean maxed out as in maxed out within the game , without using dev tools to get options which arent in the "normal" gameAHH ok. When Tombstone said maxed out I thought that meant maxed out i.e using all unobtanium. Words are important.
So a bit like Hogwarts where it had a similar issue with the ultra/high settings.

You can only get the unobtanium settings by adding a command line switch, they arent in the "normal" gameAh ok. I wasn't aware the unobtanium settings were like that, thought it was just another preset
