Baldur's Gate 3

Horizon Dawn and my 2070 OC gives me around max of 75C with everything maxed out, but playing Baldurs Gate 3 and my temps are going way up to 90C even with 90% fan speed!

Ouch, normally by then clock speeds should have dropped off significantly to keep things in check.

Was having some trouble killing a certain bog witch before she cast her second mirror image and became unmanageable, lost my patience and then discovered the power of the "shove" bonus action. One quick push in the back from my highest STR character and whheeeeeee off a cliff she goes.
I just hope she wasn't carrying any good loot

Been dying for this to come out, it looks awesome - £50 though... oof :p

Glad to see the feedback on it mostly all good though.

Yeah, loving it so far. Its still early in its development, quite a few features missing, the odd glitch here and there but even with whats there currently I can tell this is going to be a belter at 1.0. It is sort of really making me want to play through Divinity Original Sin 2 again though lol, maybe thats something I will do once I finish with the BG3 early access :)

Great to hear! I'm going to hopefully hold out for 1.0, but I'll see how that goes :p and that's a good plan actually with DOS2; thinking I might do the same as it's been ages since I played it through. Definitely would scratch and itch for now :)

I realised I never actually FINISHED D:OS2. I think I got to the final area and forgot to.
I'll probably do the same but this time NOT use the ridiculously OP sourcerer explosion build that wins every fight in 1 or 2 turns

Really enjoying this. As most have mentioned there are bugs that come with it but that's to be expected with early access. Some genuinely funny moments when failing horribly to roll the dice :D

Scrapped my first character some 12 hours in and re-rolled a Drow Rogue
Managed to kill
Auntie Ethel
before they even took an action by interrupting their initial invisibility cast with a sneak backstab and then entering combat from stealth with each other character

I love how these games let you mess around with ways of winning combat. That was way more satisfying than on the first character where I just pushed them off a cliff

another to keep an eye on thanks ! all these seem to have passed me by.

I remember the old games good fun used to play with my friend and take turns !

Caved and bought it as I cant resist a good RPG fight, its pretty much by the numbers for this style of game so far. Nothing really standing out. Fair few camera bugs, one of which forced me to alt-f4.

Feels a lot more Divinity than Baldurs, imo. :) Also having to jump your entire party is painful.

Not really enjoying Ranger so far, might re roll before I get much further.

By the numbers isn't a bad thing if they're really good numbers done really well

Yeah the camera has some serious issues at times... really love it when it shoves the camera under the ground in combat, it's so helpful not being able to see anything!

Worth knowing that if you're going through a door that changes to a new map, you only have to jump one character. As long as you haven't unlinked the party members, the rest will teleport through the door and it doesn't appear to matter how far away you are on the map.

If you can get Shadowheart to tell you her big secret then afterwards when you ask to get to know her she'll talk about plants, ask her to point some out to you and you gain approval. You can repeat this line of conversation infinitely for max approval
