I did the entirety of Pathfinder 1 and 2 purely in TB, then again I do prefer turn based in games, it much much better fits me as it gels in my mind with all the turn based pen and paper and boardgames that I grew up on
Yeah, was a long one but I'm fine with that, as I say I played tabletop games/boardgames which took ages too, one of my co-op playthroughs of Civilization 6 on PC took 14 months to complete from start to finish, sometimes with 15-20 minute waits for one person to take their turn, so I'm fine with things taking a long timeDo you remember the attack on your "base" in Act 1 of Pathfinder 2 (I don't want to spoil things for anyone who hasn't played it)
I found that fairly easy but incredibly long and tiresome in turn based mode. So many NPCs to take turns and act.
Not timed, according to the devs it wasnt MP/co-op which pushed it toward TB, its implementing the D&D 5e ruleset properly (which is geared around turns) which meant that to do the rules as faithfully as possible meant copying the turn based mechanics from the P&POne presumes multiplayer / co-op pushed it towards TB over RTwP. I'll assume it is timed TB too?
Ahh, good to hear it is not timed. I'm far too slow these days to quickly flick action icons, accurately with a controller. Not timed, according to the devs it wasnt MP/co-op which pushed it toward TB, its implementing the D&D 5e ruleset properly (which is geared around turns) which meant that to do the rules as faithfully as possible meant copying the turn based mechanics from the P&P
