Baldur's Gate 3

If you kill Gale and don't resurrect him for 2 days, he wipes out your whole party and you have to reload a save, so it seems it's a ticking time bomb that you can't leave dead.

You should be able to pick up a Revivify scroll if you don't have any other options. There's at least 3 accessible in Act I. You may need to use stealth to get to them if you're level 1 or 2 though.

I went back about 30 mins on a save and managed to sort it with the quest one, but yep this was probably a better solution!

How do you finish so many games? I swear every new release you pop up :D Bet you haven't touched Age of Wonders since Diablo 4.
Cant even recall the number of games I've played since Age of Wonders ! I usually play a minimum of 5 hours per day during the week and often 12-15 hours on a Saturday and a Sunday, so I'm normally banging out 40-50 hours a week gaming. That means I get through a lot of games, even a 30 hour long title only lasts me a week. However, I dont usually "finish" a game like Age of Wonders, that sort of big strategy title is one that I come back to over and over throughout the years (1400+ hours in Civ 6 for example)

Next up after Baldurs Gate 3 for example, in the middle of August, is Shadow Gambit, then Starfield a couple weeks after that. I like to have all my releases planned :D

Ah ok, not that you have to report to me I was just curious, I can't find the time to split all my hobbies and learning I do out of work, and I have no dependents etc (plus dont work Wednesdays). Yeah I am VERY aware of the impending Starfield date, plus not sure when 40K Rogue Trader is coming out.
Going to create my character in a minute.

@iron_monkey 100% I must have restarted Witcher 3 ten times, due to game bouncing, still never finished it :D

Gaming IS my hobby, my only hobby. all the kids have long since moved out now which means that my other half (who games even more than I do, but on much fewer titles) and I have all the time in the world to indulge in copious amounts of game related fun :)

Right, so, this any good? I haven’t played any previous games. Is it turn based? Free roam? Single player?
Combat is turn based, out of combat is real time, reasonably free roam (within the limits of the map level) , single player or co-op (upto 4 players). Is it good is subjective of course but imo its absolutely excellent.

It is very good but definitely not for everyone, can be slow at times or frustrating. Turn based combat. Lots of talking. Some fights will require lots of attempts before you figure it out or leave and come back with a different party composition/levelled up a bit more.

Yeah I had to move, I got fed up downloading at 300K now i'm averaging 45mb makes a world of difference :)
300k is bad. I average 3.8mb if that. Unfortunately the wife doesn’t see the internet as a priority, however with fibre landing I’ll finally be able to play games sooner. .

Think I’ll be popping the kids off to bed early tonight. 5pms alright for that yeah?

So the talking brain thingy in the starting area - pros and cons of taking it with you or killing it ?

If you successfully free it, it becomes a pet through the prologue until you're off the Nautiloid. It may turn on you though, so you might have to fight it. It doesn't stay with you after the crash so there doesn't seem to be any long term impact.

Really buggy for me- 4 crashes so far, stuck in combat once. The characters look like they have had most of their teeth knocked out during some cut scenes. I also seem to be wearing a comedy beard that looks like its stuck on with glue.

Stil I am enjoying it so far, taking my time and only just off the ship.

Have you tried changing from Vulkan to DX11 or vice versa. I've only tried Vulkan but not had any crashes yet

I found vulkan crashes for me and dx 11 is stable.

Just finished work, finally time to game. Have not been this excited for a while!
