Baldur's Gate 3

Weird, if i plug in my cheap usb headphones the sound is fine i can hear the narrator. im currently using akg headphone splugged into my soundblaster jack and for whatever reason its not liking it.
Not sure if related but I have had similar issues with my soundblaster and think it was the sound card was set for 5.1 and only had 2.1 so it was playing through speakers that were not there

Thanks I'll take a look.

I've found that I've never downloaded any updates for my sound blaster X3 I've downloaded a creative app and now I'm downloading it's drivers, see if that helps.

As an FYI: To Change your Dice Skin (Digital Delux Upgrade only?)

Once you are on the dice roll page, look lower left for a small icon of a dice (with the settings icon displayed) press and options. I've got purple, orange/yellow and blue

Good tip

Another good dice related tip for everyone... turn off Karmic Dice in the settings, makes the game way better imo

Need some advice.

I'm playing as Gale main, i've had my first long rest so now I have that 'arcane hunger'. When it starts to get bad what can I do, is it literally just take any potion such as healing?

Time to chomp down on some magical items

What does that do?

Edit nvm there was a steam thread on page 1 saying the same thing, going to turn that off.
In theory, its supposed to reduce the chances of getting streaks of low numbers or high numbers, sort of a more random randomiser, however I think it messes up the RNG of the die rolls somehow and gives you "unrealistic" rolls (well, as unrealistic as you can be when its simulating die rolls), so I find the rolls are more interesting and varied with Karmic Dice turned off

Lmao I have to reload an earlier save (possibly restart!) because
I killed Gale, and then sold the bag you get from him which you need to resurrect him. Game over after a couple of days if he's dead.

Will also disable karmic dice am happy to accept the rolls as they come.

Edit - not a restart but had to go back a bit I think!
