Baldur's Gate 3

Currently playing as a Halfling Rogue (Arcane Trickster) which means I'm not using Astarion (Assassin).
Tempted to respec to a dual wielding Paladin. Anyone ever tried that? Shame your can't change your race.

in the goblin camp, i went past everyone to the inside killed all the leaders etc but now i cannot get out as soon as i go outside the entire goblin fort is on me & kill me pretty quick. Maybe i can go through the underdark? but i need to get back to the grove is that possible?

aha did similar, killed the 3 people then they all go in to agro mode. Managed to kill them outside, one of the funnier fights so far. As you move around and see more enemies they join in making it a large moving fight

There's at least 3 ways out of the building, front door, one to the underground and one out the side, just need to check the minimap

That means making lot of notes and who can be bothered with that. ;) I'll probably buy it eventually but I still have Divinity Original Sin, Pathfinder Kingmaker and Pillars of Eternity to finish. Not to mention many others I've not even started. Guess I'm more of a collector these days :)
 
I've finished Act 1 and taking a pause before going on, easier to know what to do next with all the act 1 side quests tidied up

Hello everyone,

As it turns out, many of you were doing so much in Baldur’s Gate 3 that some of your personal ‘story’ databases (where your choices and actions are stored) got too big. We now made the size infinite (or at least as infinite as you have storage space), to account for the sheer amount of things you’re all doing on your journeys.

As of today, we’re also reactivating cross-saves as we near our PlayStation 5 launch.

Hotfix #3 is currently in the oven, and will include further fixes in the near future.

CHANGES
  • Fixed an issue with save games that could occur if a save file grew too large.
  • Re-enabled Larian Cloud savegames.
 
I'm loosing my marbles... This annoying graphical bug is everywhere and it's constantly distracting me. I've tried EVERYTHING, my wife confirmed it's on her PC and save file as well. So it's the games engine forcing some horrible enviromental effect that results in these horrible lines attached to the camera object.

The quality is gash, but you can make it out. If anyone has a solution for this, please let me know. I'm going to bench the game until it's solved.

Are you sure? Just find a darkish area (not totally black) and you'll see the static overlaying lines as you pan.
 
one thing i just noticed. I bought the standard edition but have all the digital deluxe bits in my steam folder. Was this due to early access or just a bug on their part?

If you bought the standard edition before the release date, you got upgraded. They upgraded everyone who bought prior to release to the deluxe edition for free. You'll find the deluxe edition free ingame items in your chest in camp

Im p sure they came out awhile ago saying anyone that had pre purchased it will be upgraded free to that version. Good guy Larian

Aye, I get ya. Short of cracking the .pak files to cut out the specific texture (not gonna happen lol), I'm out of ideas. Submitted a bug to Larian.
 
Had a great graphical glitch on my side near the end of a session last night. Everyone else saw me as normal though.
