Baldur's Gate 3

Only dx 11 seems to support hdr. I don't think hdr looks amazing in this game but it does work
Actually in the release version Vulkan does too (I am using it) and there's no difference between DX11 and Vulkan HDR from my testing.

For me I used the slam technique as I was making a new mold for armour or sword. Pull the lever and it comes down squashing the golem. The only problem is, on the first try it caused 120 damage then never worked again, second re-load and no damage was caused. So frustrating! Did it in the end, about 10 times in
Gotta redo the lava on the next round for it to work!

Damn ally npcs are so frustrating in this game, I spend time making an intricate strategy to defeat a seemingly impossibly fight and the god damn npc starts hitting all the mobs I've crowd controlled wasting all my high level spells. Keep reloading and the npc keeps doing it, BEYOND frustrating.

edit: did it in the end though this time luck was on my side with dice rolls

Anyone daft enough to try and steal the hammer from the Devil? Just wondering if you made it out as i'm struggling. I'm level 12, so nowhere to go apart from roll back a couple of hours and not do it.

I'm not there yet but I will be trying to steal it when I get there, I did manage to steal the Lsyander mace from the Githyanki temple place so may as well give it a try :)

I will also be doing this, I read ahead about some of the results and for me this is the best route.
mindflayers are souless, they manipulate other beings by their nature and they eat brains! I simply don't trust you know who. I think we are a means to an end for them, nothing more. To add to that, if you become a mindflayer you lose your soul. Mindflayers may seem like the original person but they rely on memories to produce a persona from what I understand. The more brains they eat the more they lose the memories.

Anyone got any good tips for combat? I do seem to struggle sometimes.

I was wondering around the underdark and this spectator attacked me and instantly killed 2 of my party before I even got a turn for example.

I had to prep for that fight, I did other areas first to try and level too.

A lot of it depends on your party and builds. Potions and scrolls can give powerful buffs if you know you're about to get into combat. Using Turn based mode to maximise the duration of timed buffs and positioning people is helpful I find.

Testing the new camera tweaks mod, looking good!
