Baldur's Gate 3

Still getting a few crash bugs. I've had to avoid the Grymforge area completely because it causes none stop dx11/vulkan crashes. It feels like there is a memory leak somewhere.

I don't think I will ever play dark urge. I get it's only a game but I don't do evil things in games and it's why for example I hate all Rockstar games (or any game) that force you to be the "bad guy". There were missions that I set stun only on against the Baldurs gate guards because I felt they were "only doing their job". Yet I had no issues killing both criminal gangs because "justice".

GTA V had you in a firefight killing cops, nope not interested. RDR2 had you working with a gang where you were literally forced to do bad things. I could spend an evening doing good deeds and helping catch bad guys as a bounty hunter and strike up a raport with the local sheriff. Only to "progress" my questline by talking to Dutch and next thing I am in a firefight killing the sherrif and his deputies. Or I was forced to free one of the most vile NPC in the game and help him escape a town by leaving scores of dead locals in our wake.

Sorry, long post to say I would not find that compelling, each to their own and I know you would not be like that i real life :D
It's entirely possible to resist the dark urge and play as a "good" character, and like a lot of the game it has plenty of interactions that support that path. Do recommend giving it a try, although
I believe there's only one minor NPC who you can't avoid killing, and a couple of more major ones I needed judicious use of inspiration points - save them up if you feel bad about save scumming.

Not had loads, biggest issues so far are:

Camera control especially when there are multiple levels, I'd like more freedom of movement on camera.
Sometimes combat freezes as it works out what move the AI is going to do next.

Those are the two biggest issues so far though I haven't gone into Act 3 yet, hoping to this weekend.

Beyond that I'm also wishing for a nightmare difficulty where it's a real struggle to win, give all the enemies boosted hp and such, I'm finding tactician a little too easy.

Finally starting Act2 with my coop group. It's been a good laugh playing it with mates. The clutch moments, watching people get knocked to their death, the nat 1's and 20s :D

Am just co-op with a friend on one of my characters so we control 2 each, but it's pretty fun, definitely think it could be a lot of fun with 4 people.

We had a Gimli moment yesterday when my halfling was too short to jump a gap, he had to throw me over :D

Also we started a band, but his was the only character that could actually play the instrument they had equipped.

Full patch notes but I think their forums have crashed :D

Patch 1 also tackles a few visual bugs, and sprinkles on more post-launch polish. We’re bringing back Short King Summer with better kissing contact for short races!
You won’t be waiting long for Patch 2, which is right around the corner. This update will feature significant performance improvements - but we’ll go into more detail about that closer to its release.
In the meantime, did you know that collectively you’ve played over 200,000,000 hours of Baldur's Gate 3 since launch? That’s over 22,000 years!

A few people I know are into act3 and have said there's things not working quite right. I always expected Act1 to be truly polished since it's been in EA for so long but it's a shame at how many things later into the game are being patched. On the plus side they're patches have been releasing frequently.

Doesn't seem like it fixed the issue I had with Lae'zel (from the notes anyway)

Coolio, will get back into it again, though I may still wait for the second patch before getting too far into it.

I've been lucky enough to not suffer many bugs or crashes. And I've been alternating between playing on my main rig with an rx 6800, my htpc with a gtx 1070 and my steam deck. So thats everything but arc

Just completed the game. Last few fights are pretty long and fun. Going to play again now and take a different route to completion.
