Baldur's Gate 3

See, when I was a kid playing on consoles I would multiplayer all the time. I loved being competitive and drifted towards competitive games (fps), I really enjoyed playing as a team in stuff like raven shield or global operations and even cs in its early days but I drifted away. Wow was the first rpg I fully got into with other people (I still soloed quite a bit though) but the gameplay changed so much it just ended up being a job. I haven't really discovered another game where I'm like, yeah that would be awesome to pick up and play with other people. For BG3 I wanted to experience the story "my way" so haven't even looked into playing with others.

I think that one of the first things I look at in a game is does it have co-op, the next thing I look at is "is there a way to play the game together, sat side by side, even if it is only a single player game". I simply, like most things in life I guess, get more fun out of something shared. Does sometimes lead me into discovering some real co-op gems too, like Snowrunner, which is one of the best co-op games I've played for its use of co-op. I think I'd give up gaming pretty quickly if I had to play alone for very long :D

Lost two party members today because of my decision on the grove, not sure what the one not in my party had to do with it though.

Maybe the psychic connection between their tadpoles means they are aware of what each other is doing?

In that case, Gale shouldn't have been complaining in the first person saying that he had killed people and he had become a monster travelling with me, because he was not involved. It's this stuff that just breaks the immersion for me and makes me realise how much better the second game was in terms of the writing etc.
The gameplay on this is more enjoyable though for sure. Just a shame it feels so limited in dialogue choices etc but can't have it all.

Yup, thats true, cant have it all, BG2 has things that it fails on compared to BG3 and vice versa. Both great games though

Anyone able to access the forge when there is a corpse on top of it? I cannot select the crucible to place the ore :(

I like the occassional bit of solo gaming, but probably 90% of my gaming is with at least 1 other person. I think I've always been that way, 4 decades ago I always gamed with a friend, even though it was mostly just the 2 of us sitting side by side playing a single player game "together", and throughout the decades thats stayed the same, always been one other person at least that I game alongside
your quiet lucky

if our playing controller you can hold A to do an obsticle selection in area/range and try it that way, as wll as pick up corpse possibly.

I rarely use potions etc but just used bloodlust elixir with Lae'zel and she destroyed everything lol, one turn she had like 3 or 4 attacks.
