Good lord with viewing angles like that I could swear I was looking at a 24" version of my Dell 2007WFP !
I so want a 24" with the viewing angles of the 2007WFP without having to pay moon prices!
But then I am spoilt by the features of the 2007WFP and the image quality.
Can someone post a photo of the 2 screens side by side showing the same image? I'm sure OCUK must have a 2007WFP being used somewhere!
If I do buy it will be for 1080p video watching (finally no longer 720p only!) and also photo editing (hence why I'd need a comparison photo!)
Cheers!
I think i'm going to pull the trigger tonight... then I can do a side-by-side comparison with an NEC 20GX2.
What is your opinion of the Nec 20GX2?
1650 1050 looks good im at that res now, but isnt quite as good a the native res.
1650x1050:- 9 / 10
1768x992:- 7 / 10
1920x1200:- 10 / 10
Mate, please can you do a screenie of 1680*1050 for us and post it?
I'm assuming you mean take a photo
Cheers Chaos

Might get that monitor.... purely because the bird they've used is absolutely amazing!
HI there
The 223BW is an absolutely first class screen. Its what I was using before this 24" model. In comparison the Samsung maybe has ever so slightly better colours due too its dynamic contrast settings and magic bright stuff. Its viewing angles are not great but thats the same for most TN panels but if your looking head on at it then its not a problem.
The 223BW will display 1680x1050 better than the 24" on offer here as thats its native resolution.
However if it was my money and I was deciding between the Samsung 223BW and OcUK 24" then I'd buy the OcUK 24" because 1920x1200 is a far better resolution to work with in windows and the viewing angles on the 24" are much superior.
I know it's not the native resolution but would this monitor be able to display 1080p (1920 x 1080)?
