BARGAIN - OcUK 24" with DVI (*VA Panel) for £179.99+VAT (This Week Only Deal!!)

Ordered this monitor five days along with a few other bits and pieces. The order status is "in warehouse queue" so I thought while I was waiting I'd send a WebNote about the chances of getting/not getting a VA panel and got this quick (reply came in 2 hrs) reply:

"All the stock is now correct we had a contaminated batch in but this has now been rectified".
:)

This is the response we've been getting for the last 2 weeks :)

But hopefully now, with boxes being marked, and the website being updated to show TN panels as "open boxes", looks like they are separating the TN stock.

I would say so. The backlight bleed in the corner is definitely noticable.

Why did the guy you bought it off of, sell it?

he had no room for it, new baby and already had a 24inch dell.

I'll give it a few weeks till i go back to uni (also closer to ocuk hq) and decide then :)

I've sent two webnotes trying to organise for my monitor to get picked up today or tomorrow since friday (first note asking for it to be picked up monday sent at 4.30 on friday) and I've still not got a reply ;(

I'd phone them. It's quicker and easier, and the guys on the helpdesk (whilst seemingly overloaded with calls) are helpful and friendly.

Just ordered an OcUK Value L2442WD-VA 24. Should be here Wednesday/Thursday depending on whether the next door neighbour is in to collect the parcel. I hope they send the right one out as I live in N.Ireland and they could be out more than usual on the postage. Fingers crossed for a VA one.

Well, its good news that Trifid has done well in getting a good screen. My 2 screen go away tomorrow, one for the second time, for replacement. I am assured that there were only 50 of the TN film screens but I feel I must have been very unlucky to have had 3, of these.
