I have a SA-LTM240M2-L01. Any good? It's got great viewing angles, colour's fine.
With one of these

Its a Goodmans Upscaling freeview box with HDMI. Got it off ebay for £20
Doesnt need HDCP.
Ahhh so your using it as a TV using that freeview box and that HDMI to DVI Adapter. Thats a damn good idea. I might do that aswell
PS. Do these freeview boxes still need an aerial (like your tv) plugged into them to work?
Yes it needs an aerial plugged in.
You could use a freeview tuner for your pc/mac but ive tried several now including the Nebula DigitTV, Freecom DBVT stick and Miglia Minitv2 for mac and they just dont work as well as a proper digibox. More noise/not as smooth from a computer tuner.
I've sold my 32" Toshiba HDTV and selling my 20" NEC monitor to replace both with this.
24" doesnt really feel that much smaller than 32 to be honest and the picture is better, especially with full HD. the 32" was only 1366x768 resolution.
I have a cheap DVI switchbox on the way to allow PC/Freeview connection and a HDfury to plug the ps3 in for games and bluray in full 1080P
EDIT: just found this alternative freeview upscaling with HDMI!
Search on ******, even has digital out. wish i had found this before! of course it may be rubbish
"Freeview Set-top Box with HDMI Upscaling (HDMI Freeview STB)"
.
So all in all, i need another one of these monitors (non-TN), a Freeview Box with HDMI, and a HDMI to DVI lead and im sorted for watching TV and DVD's in Hi-Def....?
