I haven't found any dead pixels. Mine does not hum, nor does it wobble, which I wish it did, because performance wise, I'm not impressed.
A) This is a TN film, not a PVA or even VA panel. You can easily see it from the slightest change in angle, it seems no better than a 160.
B) It's also noticeably unclear or fuzzy, with contrast patches and splotching. And a grain-i-ness that you should not experience with DVI or VGA by today's standards.
C) The "OSD" features are severly limited.
D) Ghosting and backlighting issues are pretty bad. This is definatley not a uniformed LED backlighting. Then again at the price of this monitor, I'm not surprised.
EDIT: We have four of these screens sitting in our lab, and they all have the same symptoms. I'm starting to wonder which half of you people aren't even aware of the problems and which half are just in denial
For anyone considering this, if you find another one, from a known brand like Samsung or NEC, I'd spend the extra money and get it. With manufacturers like that, they design their own templates and panels and they keep them for their own products. Companies like DGM either make their own (which are not near the same quality), or they outsource them from companies competing with the manufacturers who make their own, hence they are cheaper and therefore lower quality.
I'm not going to use the cliche 'it's good for the money,' because we all say that too often. What we really mean is 'we spent too much as it is, and saying this makes us feel better about it.'
My rating is 6.5/10
