Just got my Yaruku too. Jesus Christ I didn't realise 24" was so big. I've got my 20" sitting next to it and it's like a malnourished dwarf... I was always of the impression that 24" monitors are more or less the same vertical height as a 20" -- not so. This is slightly bigger still.
Impressions so far:
+ *VA panel of some description. No colour shifting as I look above/below.
+ Nice sharp picture
+ Colours look subjectively nice. My retinas haven't been blasted off with that stupid 'vivid' look you get with a lot of other monitors.
+ Can't see any dead pixels, so that's good enough for me.
+ No mouse trails at all in windows. My VP201B has mouse trails but I can't see any with this monitor so far.
+ Decent selection of cables, including two power cables (inc. one foreign), one DVI to HDMI, VGA and audio leads (again, this is a budget monitor so getting anything is a bonus).
- Black depth is, as expected, not very good. If you're going to take a hit somewhere, this is it. For £200ish, you can't have it all.
- Stand is very flimsy. Took me about 20 minutes to work out that it actually does tilt. Once in position you don't have to worry about it, though. The monitor stand is at a good height.
- Lack of a DVI cable
I'll post some more thoughts later once I've built my new PC and had a game with it.
Overall I'm very impressed for the money.
