BARGAIN - OcUK 24" with DVI (*VA Panel) for £179.99+VAT (This Week Only Deal!!)

I'd say it's at least 50cm deep and my (admittedly cheap) desk visibly sags in the middle due to the weight.

Got mine this morning (after I managed to get back into the house after locking myself out!). It's fantastic, dead happy with it. When I ran it off the laptop (at a lower res caus the laptop couldnt cut it) throuth the vga port, it seemed to flicker a lot, but hooked up to my main rig via DVI I have no complaints! (Gotta get some pvc tape for that LED...)

I just got this monitor yesterday and seeing as I only have a 8800GTS 320MB the first game I tried was Race Driver: GRID at 1650 res, and it ran nice.

I had no problems running at 1650, I did not need to switch the frequency or anything.

That must mean that there is a problem with your monitor FooAtari.

Can anyone else to back this up?

Well I took back it to the shop this morning and they are going to test it. Hopefully here back from the by lunch time.

He he, Yeah i agree, That led is a luvly bloo

But ........... Man to me it does seem bright and i've got about everything i can led-wise in bloo lol

I did use a cd marker pen (black) and try to carefully cover over the led, Did work but as i tried a second layer so to speak it erased/messed with what i had already done

This did lower the brightness just right, But i have ended up using blutack for now

All out of electrical tapes (well got some old earth coloured green/yellow stripes ! so this aint going on lol) but someone previously said brown tape gives the led a nice purple colour

Easy to sort anyway you wanna do it so i aint worrying too much

(would like to know specs of these bloo leds though, Wouldnt mind them in my darn G15 kb :) )

Well Have Fun new 24" owners ;)

Cheers, i nearly ordered a couple of 4850's to go with it, but ill see how my 8800gts goes on the games i play at the native res :)

He he, I'm in a tiz as to which card/s to get

My old 640 8800gts just struggles in 1920x1200 lol

I know i need to upgrade my abit ip35 pro to get crossfire in 16x 16x

Heck at this rate i'll end up with 3 decent rigs with 24" monitors and maybe a flight sim setup he he

Well let us know how you like the 24" ;)

just used the hd fury with my dgm and ps3 setup. Took a bit of messing (clock/phase options on the monitor menu) but now its running full 1080p at full screen :D Games at fullscreen 720p look ace too :)

Defo a good buy! Oh and the hd fury led is like, the exact same led in the dgm monitor, so now i have 2 amazingly bright led's.

just received mine, not the best looking monitor in the world, but the quality is awesome, not sure how to find out what panel i got though

anyone know how to find out the panel type of these monitors?

I've just got one of these (with the same screen as the BENQ). I got it as part of a new build and I must say I'm very impressed with it. Like others have said the quality of the stand leaves something to be desired lol.

The screen itself is excellent, definately recommend for the money.

Guys,

My screen (DGM) developed the bloody blue line running across the monitor (width). I noticed that some guys had exactly same problem. Who I should contact regarding this? Its still within one year warranty period - Ocuk or Digimate?

Edit - nevermind - just fund it: 3 year on-site collect and return warranty supplied by Manufacturer.
