BARGAIN - OcUK 24" with DVI (*VA Panel) for £179.99+VAT (This Week Only Deal!!)

What was wrong with it and what did you do?

The geezer selling it had been messing with it. He soldered a diode onto the circuit board and it just wouldn't turn on after he messed with it. I bought it, cut the diode out, put a connector plug on the right way round and it's worked perfect ever since. :D

If I were you I'd sell it on for a profit before it goes wrong again...

I have had Loads of these monitors, Problem is that all the TN versions have died on me...

I ended up selling them all in favour of IPS pannles as i wanted matching monitors on an eyefinity setup :/

No where sells these anymore apart from TN pannel's such a shame, i got a few for my mates bday gifts...

There is one on ebay for £165 with a Pva pannel... hmm

All I can say is unless you get one for £20, avoid DGM monitors like the plague. I would seriously suggest that you purchase a monitor made by a better company, as long as the company offers a replacement warranty of some description you can't really go wrong vs DGM. Repair warranies are a serious pain, usually dealt with by poorly staffed repair companies which make the whole process far more painful than it needs to be.

Yes I'm coloured by poor experiences, but I'm not the only one.

My experiance with YURAKU is that they deal with an RMA very well.

They take there time i know but other then that they are decent.

DGM on the other hand are total crap. But well all know the Yuraku is the better of the two brands

Maybe, I still wouldn't buy a DGM or any make related to it again, regardless of how cheap. My sisters one has also produced issues, I guess that means another lengthy RMA process. It is again not an easy to diagnose problem, which was the main issue last time. There testers are rubbish, I kept putting in pages of info, which was just ignored. I'd rather it just went pop or something, then they could fix that, I could sell it and move on.

If I win some money on the lottery I'll take a chainsaw or something to it lol.

I got my PVA DGM from overclockers for £100 a few years ago now. It was one of those massive amount of B-grade stock they had. Awesome monitor!

Would I buy another DGM? No, not for retail cost, I would spend a bit more money next time, but for £100 my PVA is sex!!!
