You can enable 1:1 over DVI in the nVidia control panel and 1680x1050 looks great anyway
no because the monitor itself can not display 1:1 with anything other than the native resolution, as we said.

I need to buy a LCD as my old CRT Trinitron is on it's way out and i'm unsure
if to get this or the Samsung pebble ? I watch movies more than games and i hate it when the picture looks stretched or squashed .

If you can afford the Samsung get the Samsung it is better than this model IMHO only downside is the Sammy is 22" but picture etc is better.

It is a TN panel though so if so the viewing angles are not as good. Although you wont really notice unless you are looking at your monitor from directly below the monitor for some bizare reason
