Batman Arkham Knight - Official Thread!

Reading a few other forums, it still seems like an awful lot of people are having issues so I'll just wait a bit longer before buying this, hopefully the wait won't be too long....

Tried the new patch and it looks better, seems to run well (though I was one of the lucky ones as the performance hit on mine seemed minimal). However three times in a row now, I can't get more than 10 minutes before it crashes. Back to GTA V which also crashes but I can get a lot more done between them :p

Something else wrong with your PC with both games crashing maybe?

Well I completed then main story last night.

I enjoyed it quite a bit. Wasn't really a fan of the batmobile hide and seek parts but most of it was great.

Just need to finish all the side quests to get the true ending (its going to take a while I think)

I played it capped at 30 on a gtx 970 and there were a few random stutters here and there, but otherwise it was playable with a controller sat on the couch

I am not sure as both games have crash issues. I should try another game. Did wonder if my MSI 290 getting too hot but temps seem fine when it happens (mid 70s).

Will look into my CPU and RAM OCs next though both have been overclocked like this fir ages and the crashes started from GTA V.

played for 3 hours today. anyone looking at buying this i would say its got a few improvments but so far nothing more than the same old formula nothing major changed its like Batman AC+

6/10 so far.

I love the batman games but getting a bit of the same now.

Probably a bit silly of me to be asking this a few days after the steam sale, but does anyone know the cheapest place to pick up the entire series? Wanting to play Asylum > Knight complete playthroughs :)

Yeah if they can sort out the performance issues then I will definitely buy this. I loved Arkham City and Asylum, and this has got great reviews on the consoles. There's a good game under there if they can sort out the performance.

the only problem im having now is massive slow downs when you call the batmobile and jump in. apart from that performance is pretty good. except for being stuck on 30fps

Just unlock it from 30fps then

takes 20 seconds to change and has been highlighted how to do it many times in this thread.

There's a reason why they capped it at 30, because they screwed the performance so bad that for most/lot of people it has massive frame rate drops and stutters if you raise it to 60, which has not been fixed by the first patch I may add.

You might get lucky but it doesn't work well for a lot of people, if he's getting stutters now at 30 I'm pretty sure it will be worse if he unlocks it.

Finished this last night and apart from the Batmobile sections I really enjoyed it. Probably enjoyed AC more but I think that's just because it felt they expanding the game then without shoe-horning in too much and it didn't have the Batmobile!

Got to 96% completion, can't be bothered with the Riddler stuff, I wish they had toned that down a bit as 200+ trophies/challenges does seem a bit over the top.
