Hhhhmm I don't think I get the rain textures with mine (290) - played very briefly yesterday and remember panning around Batman at the start with no apparent rain textures. Maybe I need to knock down to 1080p which will give me higher fidelity options.

As you can see, there is rain on the pc version but nowhere as much as the consoles.

When bf 4 came out, I played it non stop regardless of the crashing, performance etc. issues that I and many others had so just because people play a game doesn't mean there aren't problems etc...
I have no interest in how tess. works.... all I care about is you high lighting the differences between 64 and 16 tess. in those screenshots that I have provided or via your own screenshots, nothing else. tick tock tick tock....
And yup I have only sank about 90+ hours into EACH of the first 3 batman games and only a big batman fan who has probably seen all the animated cartoon films/tv shows, films etc.
Yup, no interest in buying/playing this at all....

So then if people are saying that they have the rain effects on pc just like the consoles (although afaic, it doesn't look as good), are people using the gameworks rain effects? If so, what happens if you disable it? Bare in mind that the consoles don't have gameworks...

Mine is set to minimum graphics so that doesn't surprise me Definitely looks much better than those videos though.

Yeah we get rain, we don't get rain textures on Batman himself. They are missing from PC version.
I know the score now anyway. Most games I get on PC for best experience. Any AAA title with Gameworks I buy on consoles for best experience.

It isn't just the rain, but also no ambient occlusion, look at the area around the eye.
Can anyone here also take a look at the bat mobile and provide screenshots of their's please (PC VS PS4):

I think it's irritatingly ironic given the low resolution gifs that were floating around from pre alpha footage of Witcher 3, and we're doing the same now.
Ok, so what you're saying is that the lower resolution gifs are biased against the PC image???? How so?
The compression will affect both equally given that they are both the same resolution (at least they look similar in terms of sharpness/clarity, happy for someone to provide the individual images so that I can check the res.), if the gif is lowering the quality of the PC shot, then it would be diminishing the quality of the PS4 shot to the same extent. Regardless, it doesn't explain the missing rain and AO effects which are independent of resolution...
Of course, there's nothing to prevent you from providing pictorial evidence to the contrary.
Also, this isn't a pre-alpha version but the final release version.
And yup, still denying the witcher 3 graphics downgrade, once again care to provide proof against all the other media sites evidence?

I'll prove you are right nexus if that helps My Batman and Batmobile looks pretty bad! the rest of the game, not so much.
I do agree it's not right but it's not something you notice as the game is pretty fast paced most of the time.

Thanks savegasam, it will be nice to confirm if these images/gifs are "true".
And yup, I think the game looks great "overall" but my issue is that it could and should be better as evidenced by the fact that the ps 4 looks better.
I honestly don't want to be right and hate this game as I have been looking forward to this game ever since it was announced, just need to look through my posts before the game came out, I would quote them but there are too many!
For me it is just the principle and that us PC gamers are getting shafted big time again.
I think rocksteady will get these issues sorted out for us and if/once they do, I will be buying the game then.

It's amazing on PS4 though !
