Batman™: Arkham Knight Performance

Performance when walking about/fighting is fine for me, 50-60 FPS with a 280X, 1200p. Just tanks at times, (cutscenes/batmobile) almost down to single figures sometimes.

Guess a bit of optimization and this game will be fine. :)

Well Ubisoft got away with Watch_Dogs being a mess and didn't even bother to try and fix it.

Most GameWorks games of recent have ran like poo, whether it's that causing issues can only be speculated, but all it's doing is making Nvidia's TWIMTBP look bad.

Gonna wait until this game is fixed. Got it free with my card..but haven't downloaded

Batman is my favourite superhero. Don't want to spoil it ;-) lol

Watch Dogs was unplayable for me on launch, it stuttered all over the place and put me off playing it. I still haven't gone back to see if it was fixed and now so much time has passed I really don't care. I pretty much expect Ubisoft games to be broken on launch or have some form of issues, been that way for a long time now.

As for Batman I am loving it and haven't really had any problems once I did the 60fps hack.

Not even with the batmobile on what settings?

Nope, no problem.

3840x2160
V-sync off
Everything as high as it can go (i.e textures normal, AA on)
PhysX all on

5930k @ 4.4Ghz
1x Nvidia Titan X using Win 10 WHQL driver 352.84
+
1x Nvidia Titan X as dedicated PhysX card
16GB DDR4
Samsung Evo 850 Pro SSD
Windows 10 Tech Preview 10130

Ran it with Afterburner for a few hours last night. FPS were mainly high 50's with lows of about 35fps.

At one point I was fighting a bunch of enemies and fired the batclaw, and the FPS seemed to drop to about 29 for a split second but that's it.

No issue on a rig that costs about £5K :D

Got my 970 back yesterday so thought I'd give this a quick go. After getting 15fps during the first car chase, I decided to give up.

3k, give or take.

But essentially yes ;)

So a £300 console owner will have the same lack of issues than a person with a £3000 PC.

So unless PC owners brute force things we end up with rubbish, poor looking games.

PC owners should be now eating their words about Crysis - such a great looking game which was nowhere buggy as many of these releases and didn't need £1200+ of graphics hardware either.
