Batman™: Arkham Knight Performance

Ha, I like how he attributes the patch official release to himself!

Yeah, the guy that released the software that got it running a bit better pre patch (Kaldaien??) seemed a bit of a **** too. "My software is great" etc. He released a note about how to fix the game after the patch if you had used the tweak tool and called it something like, Appendix 1.C :D

I spent the weekend playing with the new patch and I must say, there is an improvement from what i can see. Frame rates are steady @ 60fps (using v-sync) and I don't get frame drops while in combat or in the Bat Mobile anymore. Stuttering has totally gone which is really nice to see too - I still feel textures need some work, but it's still great to play and really happy with the results.

The patch has made a difference here too - I'm just trying to decide between 1080P with high textures or 1440p with medium (Gameworks features off on both, but everything else on) as they both give smooth gameplay on my [email protected] and 980.

I'm not sure I can see a difference between medium and high textures at the moment though, can anyone suggest a place to look or have some comparison shots that I can look at to weigh up the difference?

Running really sweet for me. I can't say I notice anything different graphically but frames were higher and sat pretty much at 90fps for the most part (another frame-locked game).

Last time I looked into batman it was missing stuff the consoles had is this still the case ?

Getting to be too common, this. I'm swaying on selling my Swift and going 4k as the extra fps capability seems to be a waste with the games I play. :(

Yer, not as smooth when frames are locked and with MGS having locked frames, I am losing what G-Sync does the best. I can see this happening a lot with DX12 as well but I sure hope I am wrong, as I love my Swift.
