September 3rd Update and Patch Notes
4 SEPTEMBER - YORICK

Good news - testing for the interim patch has been completed and it is now available for those who already have Batman: Arkham Knight for PC. As a reminder, below are some of the major fixes and improvements that will be addressed with this patch:

Reduced frame rate hitches
Optimizations for system memory and VRAM usage
Improved performance on all GPUs (requires the latest drivers)
More Comprehensive In-Game Settings
Fixed low resolution texture bugs
Fixed hitches when running on mechanical hard drives (HDD)

In addition to the above, we’re continuing to work on the following for future updates:
Adding support for SLI and Crossfire
Adding support for the latest DLC & Season Pass content
Adding support for additional updates such as Photo Mode
Continued improvements and bug fixing for a Windows 7 specific memory issue that occurs on configurations with 8GB of system RAM and some NVIDIA GPUs during extended game play
Continued improvements for Windows 10 specific issues on systems with some AMD GPUs

As always, we will monitor for any additional issues that come up and will provide further optimizations and bug fixes along the way.

We would like to thank everyone for their patience and invaluable feedback. We’ll provide ongoing updates here as they are made available. In the meantime, please enjoy the game with the latest patch.

Can you not still unlock the frame rate in the settings cfg? Changing line maxfps=xx to maxfps=144 or something.

I'm reliably informed by the internet that MGS:V frame lock is down to the physics engine rather then Konami being bells :)

Yer I reckon you can but I just didn't bother. The same with MGS, you can unlock it but I haven't as yet.

Can't be as bad as Skyrims flying vegetables at least. I had a 120hz screen when that came out and the physics above 60fps went crazy.

Running really sweet for me. I can't say I notice anything different graphically but frames were higher and sat pretty much at 90fps for the most part (another frame-locked game).

What has happened to all the Videos on this forum, they all seem to have got a bit wider ?

Starting to get flickering textures now :( Wasn't happening when I first fired up the game after the patch and it works fine on my other computer. Both with 290's installed.

Was playing this for a while last night. All Max and Gameworks options off.

Still stuttering :(

It's complaining about my 355.60 driver being out of date, but I'm not upgrading as the latest driver has issues with clock speed.

Well I tried something I read. Turn sli off and use gpu 2 as a dedicated physx card. Made a great difference for me. Everything turned on aax4 with all the gameswork stuff turned on.

In the batmobile I get 35-55 ish fps on foot I get 55-75 fps. The game runs pretty smooth for me now :)

Nvidia even disabled SLI in the profile in the latest drivers and listed a set of errors people were getting with it on... hopefully SLI will be back soon now that patches have started coming through... having said that I am about 70% complete and haven't had many problems bar an occaisional crash after 1hr+, with fps in the 90's for the most part

Not sure if it's just me but the vocals on the game go off from time to time. When people are talking you can see there face moving but no vocals come through? :S

Not just you and something I noticed before the patch as well. I was expecting that to be fixed post-patch but obviously not :(
